I played this game after all the patches came out and had a great deal of fun with it. The graphics are gorgeous and playing with the different characters was a ton of fun as well, each individual hero plays differently from the other and you get to experience their powers and abilities through the story. This mechanic adds variety to gameplay even though a lot of the missions are very similar in style and structure.

3.5 stars. A nice looking game and generally better than some negative make it out to be. Still, it isn’t really anything special, and I overall felt it’s “above average” but falls short of being a really good game. Gameplay and such is generally OK and has moments of being quite fun, but the overall game seems a bit uninspired.

Too bad they missed the chance to make a great game. I got it to play on the PS5 and it works, not only on PS4. But the game was intended to work as a cash grab, with concepts I strongly dislike, like Loot, Crafting, Modding, etc. Developers created a vast universe of cosmetics and non-sense that do not add any value to the game. It just makes it repetitive and shallow. If that effort was placed on better storytelling, boss battles, mechanics it would've been a huge hit. Shame that they got Marvels license to this wonderful characters and missed.

I played only the campaign and actually found it pretty enjoyable, but some of the bugs and frustrating little quality of life problems definitely kept me from sticking around with the multiplayer. I can foresee them fixing a lot of these things at some point, so maybe I'll give it a shot again in the future when there is more single player content.

This is a fun and entertaining game. I bought it on sale for my son and he really liked it.

Great story and fun game in the beginning just need more characters and an expansion pack.

Fun game. My only issues is the confusing in game menus. Gameplay is decent and story is good.

We bought this for my son for Christmas. He has played many hours of this game and really likes it. The graphics and action play of the game is what keeps him coming back for more.

I've been a comicbook fan since I was 14 and I am amazed at how well designed this game is. It's not a sloppy movie tie-in cash grab like so many other marvel games in the past. So far the best Marvel games have been for Spiderman but real care was put into Avengers as if this game was created to mirror the box office domination of the Avengers movie. With games like these, Marvel can dominate the gaming world too.

Good game to play with a couple friends. Not overly difficult if you are the intended level

Graphics are good. Support is bad. DLC was suppose to be available in October and no DLC.

Other than having a great story campaign and playing as each avenger, everything else is ok.

Good campaign, entertaining story. The post campaign & multiplayer gets kind of repetitive.

The game isn't terrible by any means..but it's far from great. It's a repetitive grindfest, similar to Destiny, which can work great for some genres. But for a 3rd person action game based on the world's most popular super heroes? I'm disappointed. There's also a ton of small bugs and glitches, nothing game breaking but always annoying.

The game is great, the price is great, the fun is great

Quick and easy to get into the game. Story is fun and I really like the amount of characters you can play as. The semi-open world type of game is astounding. Graphics look great too!

Got to love the graphics and the gameplay. Controlling isn’t too bad either.

Campaign is a lot of fun and solid. The multi-player experience leaves a bit to be desired. Very repetitive and gets old quickly. Hoping for some updates to expand the experience.

What must I say.. As a huge MCU fan, this game is pretty much everything to me. I mean EVERYTHING. I had been dreaming about one day having a 3rd person action game with a solid story mode of Marvel's Avengers since the first ever Avengers movie came out. And this brought me back to my initial excitement about the franchise. I'm not saying it is a perfect game. It isn't. It actually does have quite of bit of areas where could have been developed better but for the first official Avengers game, this is a total win in my personal opinions. If you're a true Marvel fan. You know you will appreciate this game. Lastly...Avengers! Assemble!!!!
