Completely off balanced! Clothes come out soaked. My kids literally get scared and start crying when they hear the washer start going crazy!! I should’ve never bought this washer. I’ve had Maytag appliances and never had an issue until now. I was really hoping to like this washer but honestly just regret buying it.

Do not.....Do not purchase this washing machine if your time OR money mean anything to you. We have no children, and this machine still broke within a year. Yes, eight months! Maytag means nothing to me anymore. Will never buy another Maytag machine. This washer takes on the average, fifty-five minutes to complete a small load of clothes. If you have a medium load of clothes, FORGET it! Only does small and large loads. If you are going to do a large load of clothes, plan of an hour and twenty minutes time for the cycle to complete. You will be soooooo tired of this machine! You will really dread laundry day. So, in essance: No More MAYTAGS!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely loved my Maytag washer & dryer set for the first 2-3 years. now going on year 3, my washer on spin cycle goes absolutely nuts… it’s only 3 years old? and i only have a small family of 3, very confused how this could have issues so soon.

Maytag used to have a reputation for quality and reliability. This is not your grandmothers Maytag, it's a cheap mostely plastic imitation that rattles and shakes and leaks like a sieve.

Unbelievable! Do not buy this. We are forced into water efficient models? YOU CAN CHOOSE DOUBLE RINSE, but I can't add washer or select a load size. I actually waste money and time with this washer since I have to wash everything twice. Had the repair man here twice and he said there's nothing wrong with it that they are basically garbage. I cannot believe the money I wasted on this, it is literally sitting in the garage rotting since I was able to find an old one online, something that actually had qualify back then. It is also a Maytag, if you could see the comparison of this one to their old product, you'd never buy a Maytag again. So disappointed in this company. They will spam you with mail to get you to try to buy an extended warranty that cost the same as the machine. It goes to show how much faith they have in their own product. Thought I was getting a quality American product but boy was I mistaken.

While it will clean your clothes, it takes FOREVER!!! My Kenmore, which lasted 20 years+, did the same job in 20 minutes. This one takes an hour+. Who wants to spend all day doing laundry? Would not recommend.

I am a fifty year veteran of Maytag washers. I have used them through my husbands farming days and the baby days. My last one was twenty-five years old, (the motor mounts rusted and we do not live far from the coast) We purchased this machine three years ago. Any time I wash, the machine walks the floor through the spin cycles. My husband has tried every thing, even to the point of setting the machine on 3/4 inch plywood. I painstaking load the washer trying to make sure nothing goes to one side. You cannot open the washer to move things around as the door is locked. I called Maytag and was told that I would need to call a repairman even though it supposedly has a ten year warranty. I will never buy another maytag again.

This washer is slow and leaves soap residue on most of the dark clothes even after three or four rinses using the deep water cycle. I’m not sure how it can be high efficiency if you have to rinse the clothes so many times. I certainly won’t buy a Maytag again and I don’t recommend this washer to anyone else.

I Bought this washer a month ago. My Clothes don't come out very clean. I got a small amount of pasta sauce on my shirt. Pre- treated the stain and put it in the washer. Still a red spot on my shirt. I use a name brand detergent and a name brand pre-treat. Maybe it's something else but I've used the washer a number of times and noticed something I didn't like each time. I wish I didn't buy this washer. I'm just not happy with it.

I own the machine for less than a year. As of today the machine kept repeating the same cycle: rinsing or spinning or draining for hours, and have to manually stop the cycle and unplug the washing machine. I get an error code of f8421 from the blinking lights, and nothing online can explain it to me.If you're gonna shell out $500 on a washing machine, i highly suggest to avoid maytag product.

We've had this product for just over a year and it no longer works. We reached out to Maytag to have it serviced and the service will be practically the same price as a new one. I understand this isn't a high priced item but still for the price we paid I would expect the item to last longer than one year. Very Disappointed!

Second time i have purchased this exact model and it has been great!

I purchased my top load Maytag thinking average wash would be 30 to 45 mins. That is not the case. Regardless off the soil level, rinse option and kind of wash. My first wash took about 2 hours. On my second wash adjusted everything for a faster wash still on rinse cycle after an hour. Bring back the older models the sensing is ridiculous as well.

Got this new washer delivered today. It doesn’t work! I have no idea what I’m going to do without a working washer with three small kids. I would gladly take my old semi-broken washer back - at least it semi-worked - but the delivery guys took it away! I can’t believe it. It’s the first appliance ever I buy that’s a total lemon from Day 1. Pathetic. Never will I buy anything made by Maytag again - and will tell all relatives and friends to avoid this brand.

This machine didn't even make it 3 years with only 2 people in the house. Awful!

This is the worst washer ever. I bought this machine 14 months ago I’m Best Buy. Been having Kitchenaid for 20 years without any issues. I decided to buy Maytag washer to try it but the machine DOES NOT wash small blankets, it stops when is soaking wet. I called the manufacturer they said they would pay for services, parts and labor. When the service company came to fix the issue, they said the Manifacture DID NOT authorize the service!!! I had to pay 125.00!!!! NEVER MORE! CRAPPY COMPANY.

I hate this washer and wish I had never purchased it. There's no way to control the water level in it, and on sensor mode, the clothes are barely wet and rubbing against each other creating wear. Things come out with soap stains and twisted up so tight that I don't believe water got close enough to the dirt to carry it away. Don't waste your money.

I have to replace this washer and it is LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD!!! The computer board needs replaced and it is NOT COVERED by the 10 year warranty. The cost to replace the computer board is $600. Maytag sent Platinum Repairs to charge me $116 and tell me a new computer board costs $600. This is the WORST appliance I ever bought.

Not power to the control panel. Only owned this Maytag washer for 3 months. Purchased the Maytag brand believing it would be of better quality / performance than my old GE. Reading other reviews this is a common problem. Next appliance I'll be sticking with GE.

We have had this washer for 5 years now, and bought it new. It jumps all over the place no matter how you load it. Takes 2-4 hours to wash a load. It doesn’t spin all the water out of the clothes most of the time. Piece of JUNK from day one!
