maytag is still a contender for quality, price and efficiency

I specifically chose a Maytag because I value dependability. One month after delivery the agitator stopped working. I called for repair service and was happy to hear I would get it repaired within 2 days. Then the repair company rescheduled me for the following week. What an inconvenience! Still waiting.

A great washer just a little loud But when laundry door is closed you can't hear it holds up to having multiple loads throughout the week probly do about 20 loads doing the week but tween family and kids

I finally found a washer that isn't too noisy, is easy to use and cleans well!!

Maytag has its own name for durability . Not really what I expected with this washing machine. I bought this 2 years ago but unfortunately it stopped working. Good thing that I bought a 5 year warranty . The motor agitator just stopped working and making a huge screeching sound . I decided to replaced my Maytag washing machine with other brand.

We had a front load whirlpool but was never very happy with it. So decided to go back to the top load. We chose the Maytag as we had this brand in the past and always been very pleased. The price was competitive with others.

It is large enough to do large towels. Comforters bedspreads and is gentle to all things. Cleans really well

The first washer delivered had a cosmetic damage and Best Buy replaced it with on problem. The delivery personnel did a great job replacing it. Washes clothes very clean and spin drys so that a minimum of time in the dryer The water sense determines the correct amount of water. Big savings on water. Water temp (hot to cold) settings are perfect. Rines in cold water. Large stainless tub (10 year warranty) allows larger loads Very pleased

This is a fantastic washer for our 3 person house. It runs great and clothes are washed clean. It rinses very well so that dripping wet clothes are not put in the dryer. It runs very quiet too. The customer service and installation - all of which occurred within 3 days from the time we purchased - could not have been smoother. You can have Home Depot.....terrible customer service.

Very happy with washer. It is easy to operate. I think the price was right.

What a wash out this MAYTAG washing machine turned out to be....When the sensing option is used for the wash, the water level in the washer is not enough to fully wet the clothes!! And when the deep water level is used, the washer fills too much to allow the agitator to work properly and wastes an unnecessary amount of water. There is no in between option. I’m very disappointed with the washer!!! Unfortunately, I discarded my old whirlpool instead of having it repaired....What a Huge Mistake!!!

Love this washer. Simple to use. It’s quick and love the agitator. We are a family of six and it is a big washer!!

My new washer is big enough that I can wash all my blankets. Cleans beautifully!

Good washing machine. Easy to use. Only dislike is no reservoir for liquid detergent and wish they had a buzzer to let you know your wash was finished.

auto sensing fill (HE) or deep fill power wash with agitator it what I love most about this machine. high quality, although a bit noisy because you can hear it while it's auto-sensing water level...it's worth the benefit of saving water. it has a very roomy interior and I also like that there is only one push button to start machine. less to breakdown if you ask me. Very pleased with this purchase!

This is a nice big washer. You can do a big load or a comforter, no problem. It seems to take a long time to do a load though and sometimes we have to mess with the settings to get it to go through the whole cycle.

Washed three loads great. On fourth load stopped at rinse with light flashing. That blinking light is not a choice in the trouble shooting guide. Waiting on replacement now. Hopefully this particular machine was just a lemon and my opinion will change with the replacement.

Purchased this washer MVWC565fw2 with matching dryer from Best Buy Roanoke Va. on10/4/2021. To replace 21 yr. old kenmore with cracked outer tub that cleaned very well. We were so happy leaving store getting a Maytag with high efficency Usa sticker and commercial technology. Well we are shocked after finding out that it will not clean or rinse clothes,tried different HE detergents-settings and adding water and wet clothes. Wife is making payments on her visa for a machine that does not do very well. Needs more water in tub and a taller wash plate impeller. I wish it could get a newer improved control module( for more water) and wash plate. $700.00 wasted We wash our clothes twice with this machine.

The size of washer is great, it washed my clothes very well, had excellent choices of cycles. Great price! BUT!! Never could get the thing to stay balanced on spin cycle. The washer was level too. Apparently there was some type of manufacturing problem. I returned it and purchased something totally different.

Love the large capacity, also the smooth operation. Spins water out of clothes very well. Would like the water sensing setting would put just a little more water in machine.
