I really love my new washing machine. It is pretty quiet and cleans well! I can't wait to get the matching dryer!

I love the washing machine. I'm old, used to non-electronic types, so it bothers me a little that the electronics will go out on me. But, it cleans my clothes with vigor. I am happy thus far.

The auto sensing circuit does not allow for enough water to cover up the clothes. My wife ran a load through last night and her lab coat had dry places in the fabric after the spin cycle. I piece of tissue paper she had left in one of the pockets was also dry! We have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it only seems to clean consistently on the Deep Water selection which fills the drum to the maximum level, but this is certainly not saving water. I'm going to call the BB store we got it from to see what they can do for us.

This Maytag is pretty good; not as good as my old 25-yr old one was - not as many options. Plus, this one doesn't put enough water in either the wash or rinse cycle, even with the "deep water" option.

This washer is average. I wish I paid more attention to the other reviews saying this washer was loud. It is very loud. Way more so than my old washer. On the plus side it does fill up with more water than my old one.

Great deal and product. Large capacity and volume sensing

This "ain't" the washer we grew up with. Everything was simple then. Today's washers are so much more versatile; give you more washing options. I think top loaders are still much more reliable and much easier to load/unload. This Maytag washes quickly. Our "first wash" on "automatic" water level worked great. But, yes, it does make "strange noises", but so does our new refrigerator. That just comes with today's technology. Like many things today....we shouldn't expect them to be built to "last" forever. But, I expect them to "last long enough". We'll see.

had to read up on how to do each type of load but now it is really simple. I read up on the reviews before i purchased. The washer is much quieter than my old one.

The machine cleans as expected but it seems like every three or four loads, the machine gets 'stuck' on the wash cycle. When we notice that it's stuck, we press the 'start/pause' button and it resets fine. It's annoying - especially if it's more than an hour before we notice. Also, our old machine was also a Maytag with no issues for years and it had the old cycles (small, medium, large - light, heavy, etc.) This one doesn't seem to have these (at least not that we can figure out because the machine was delivered without a manual) so the normal cycle seems to take forever.

It's a basic low frills washer that's fairly simple and easy to use. I like that the washer determines how much water to use based on how much laundry I put in. That conserves water. Maytag has a good reputation and I hope to have it for many years to come.

This washer was very noisy and would sound like it was done then it would start going again.. Okay for the price, but we ended up returning it to get something that fit better.

Basic washer that works great for the price! I would recommend this unit if you do not have a lot of specialty clothing options.

This washer has not failed me once and washes my clothes thoroughly. I am very happy with my purchase.

I got this machine due to the fact that it lets me change from a lower level of water that runs thru a sensor to a higher level when needed. Very easy to use.

It's fine. We haven't had any issues. The lid has all the instructions, which I like, it makes it easy for the kids to know what to do.

Fabulous wash machine! Large load capacity breaks down the time it takes when you have a lot of clothes to wash.

I bought this for my daughter because my wife and I have had Maytag stuff for our whole married life. Great quality, clearly well built, this machine works perfectly. The features are helpful but the operation is not overwhelming, Also it has an agitator, a feature that we really wanted. No complaints whatsoever! Yes, Maytag costs a bit more on the front end, but in the long run you save money and time, because you don't have to keep getting it fixed or replaced.

This is a real workhorse. it gets everything super clean. it's quite and yet does a great job.

For the longest we used to take our sheets and blankets to the laundromat. Not anymore! This machine can handle all of our clothes and more!

Really gets the clothes clean without some of the problems of other top loaders. It is rather noisy. Clothes come out much drier than my previous dryer.
