If you are looking for a basic good top load washer for a good price this is the one you want.

This washer has a very wide and large tub. It has a lot of good option for whatever type of laundry you are washing. I would highly recommend it. We love it.

Great washer very easy to load and use. the controls are not confusing at all, my elderly parents love using it!

This washer is for small loads. I don't recommend for a big family in which your constantly washing. Washer does take a long time to wash but washes well. I like that there is many settings for each type of loads.

My parents' washer finally bit the dust, and we had to get a new one. The speed and service was great, now it's just getting used to the little quirks that come with something new. Mom says it wrinkles more, that it takes longer to wash. But overall, they're happy, and clothes are clean!

My Magtag washer purchase and installation was great. Best Buy had just the one I wanted, right size with a small agitator, at a great price with a quick delivery time! The salesperson was very efficient and professional, and the sale was completed in minutes. The delivery truck came at the expected time, and the 3 men team got my new washer installed and operational, with the old one removed, very efficiently. So happy I chose Best Buy for my purchase!

Great washer. Very quiet and can do large loads such as comforter with sheets. Very surprised at size of load washer can handle. Love it!

verdict is still out - not much water used and takes longer than regular washer however clothes appear to be clean and smell clean. Just don't feel like its being used efficiently since its a larger capacity but I'm washing less clothes since it states to loosely pile clothes

This is a large washing machine that gets my clothes really clean. It has a power wash setting that I use to wash my husbands work clothes.

Was lucky to get a great price. The capacity this has to do each wash is really impressive. So far so good.

I don't know how to feel about this washer. My mom insisted on Maytag because it's the only brand she trusts for washer/dryers. I like the idea that it's high-efficiency, meaning it uses less water, but I've found that it uses so little water that most of the time the clothes barely get wet at all and the detergent is still sitting on top of the clothes, barely damp at the end of the cycle. This prompts me to need to wash my loads twice just to get it wet. What I've been doing to avoid this is put deep water wash, but when I look, the water isn't deep at all. So I don't recommend "auto sensing" because it seems highly inaccurate. At first I thought it was broken because it stops and goes but that's just it's "high efficiency-ness." I like that I am able to fit a lot more clothes in it compared to our previous washer, but that's just because 4.2 cu ft is larger than our old one. Best Buy delivered, installed, and hauled our old one away in about an hour (including giving a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way). So I was very impressed with that aspect. As for the washer itself...I guess high-efficiency products just aren't my niche. I wanted to see my clothes get really wet and the detergent actually disappear when I opened the lid when it's "done" but that's not what I got. My mom didn't seem to have any complaints, so I gave one star from her and one for their easy breezy install process.

This Maytag is working great. It takes on bigger loads of clothing, which lessens the number of loads I do.

This Was a great choice for us due to have always having Maytags. We are older people and didn’t want the newer models to try to learn how to operate them. Less to learn and a lot less that could go wrong with them. Like having the agitator in the middle, we feel like it gets the clothes cleaner.

I love the size of the basket and it is less noisy than the whirpool that conked out in under 6 years.so far I have no negatives about the Maytag washer.

Runs great. Highly recommend getting the agitating center. I never understood why companies remove the agitator from their line up. I would rather have to wash several loads and have clean clothes than have to wash the same large load twice. It’s rather quite for a budget friendly washer. Doesn’t collect mold like the front load washer.

Old washer went out and was going to cost more to fix. Happy with my new washer
