I never understood why companies remove the agitator from their line up. I would rather have to wash several loads and have clean clothes than have to wash the same large load twice. It’s rather quite for a budget friendly washer. Doesn’t collect mold like the front load washer.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Difficult to not use too much detergent

Operations-wise the washer is great except the odd restriction of not being able to use "deep water wash" on the Normal setting. The problem is that the washer is programmed to use the absolute smallest amount of water possible and this makes it difficult to guess beforehand how much detergent to use. Even using 3/4 of the recommended HE detergent my clothes come out sticky and with residue. Using deep water wash plus two rinses usually works but then it takes forever. I would much rather have a washer with manual water level control.

My new Maytag Washer

Machine looks great. It has larger tub than the Whirlpool I had to replace (13 years old) which will work great for washing blankets/bedspread/pillows. Makes different sounds than my last machine, but no problem, as I have separate laundry room so it is quiet enough for me. Easy to use control panel as compared to others I saw in store which are too evolved for my needs (others had blue tooth capability and everything digital). I just need basic wash functions with only a few options...this more than suits my needs.

The wifi connectivity is also useful so we can track washing and drying. Overall a great price for a great, more modern product.
