Worst Maytag Washer Ever!

This is by far the worst piece of machinery that I've ever had or heard about. It's very, very loud; clothes are not always washed well; takes an unusual amount of time to wash even on the faster selections. At first, I thought I needed to get used to the noise, and then friends would come over and ask, "what is all that noise"?! I'm presently on hold for the last 25 minutes calling Maytag to come and take a look at it. After reading the reviews my thoughts are that I'm just going to be stuck with it. Model #MVWC565FW2

At this point I have no complaints. Best Buy delivered new appliances and hauled away the old ones. They did a good job.

The only reason it didn't get a 5 is because I like to control my water level and this system has a auto water level sensor. Just call me old school.

Auto sensing mode saves water and works well. At first look, it may appear to injection insufficient water, but that’s just to wet the clothes. Then the subsequent water injections in the wash cycle will cover everything. Well designed. We only use hand wash mode with 1 rinse to save energy and materials since we change clothes and towels often and they don’t need to go through all the cycles.

Gentle but cleans very effectively. There is not a way to start the water before you add your soap. You must add soap on top or before your clothes and the water will not start until after you close the lid.
