The auto fill feature leaves some soap residue, and so we use the full water feature , and it works great.

Only reason I gave it a four star is because I'm short and the washer is pretty deep, so I actually need a step stool to reach an get to my clothes out.

That's hard to find these days, however this washer delivers! It is well built and it is really big. We loved it so much we recommended it to our parents who also purchased it. Just crossed the 1 year mark and it's still running perfectly.

I can’t understand the backlash this washer gets. It is fantastic we are a 5 person family my wife and I along with the kids all are very active. We run mutuel washes a week to include very dirty sporting equipment and we haven’t had a single issue. Great washing machine

I would recommend this to a friend Squealing - Needs New Gear Box After Only 5 Months

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Washer works fine enough but a few weeks ago it started squealing any time it would go in to the Spin cycle (loud enough that my wife could hear it upstairs). Since the washer is still within the 1 year Maytag warranty, I scheduled a service call. The technician came out yesterday, tipped the washer over and showed me some oil on the laundry room floor. He said it was the Gear Box and that he will need to replace the following: - drive hub kit - drive pulley - actuator - gearcase - drive belt - pulley shield He said these parts are well over $500. Good thing I caught this before the Maytag warranty ran out. So disappointed in Maytag quality for a newly purchased item.
