The tub is a good size. Its too noisy while working. Small slit noises. You can't fill it with the lid open. I like the water to run while I load and put detergent in it. Over all its a good buy.

Yes it's a bit noisier than worthless LG front loader that stunk like heck and had the display lose segments, but you get used to to the noises it makes. It has an agitator (like the old time washers) and gets my laundry clean. Works like a charm, and I am totally happy with it. Will do water saver washes or you can select full tub fill like the old style washers used to do.

Love my Maytag. My old one lasted for 21 years. The new one will probably outlive me! It's easy to use and does a great job on getting the laundry clean.

I bought a Maytag washer after my 10 year old washer quit working. It has a wide variety of settings to do laundry, is quiet, and has a large capacity. It is well priced. I don't think you can go wrong.

Great Value for the money. You had to have a Masters to operate my old one. This is simple, easy to use and does a great job.

As hoped for. So far so good. Does what it was designed for. Wanted a was washer that actually washed clothes. This replaced a HE model. All it did was get the clothes wet.

This washer has been very hard to adapt to. The auto sensing water feature uses such low levels sometimes it doesn't seem to get things clean, pre-wash spray sometimes not effective on simple things such as coffee stains on a shirt. There is no plain old Spin setting, so if something, like pillows, are still soaking wet there is no way to spin them to a reasonable level, so they are too wet to go to into the dryer. Many of the wash cycles are very slow. I miss my older less complicated washer very much and I doubt this one will last over 20 years like the old one did. Not very happy with this purchase.

Tried the Maytag with no agitator, but found very little water in each load AND it was very harsh on my clothes, making them look rather sorry.
THIS Maytag has an agitator, puts in a little more water using the DEEP WATER selection & is very good to my clothes.
I would still prefer MORE water, but otherwise a very good machine.

This washer has a huge drum capable of handling comforters and oversized pillows! Would have rated 5 but you can't fill the machine with the lid open or rinse at all with warm water.

Cleans really well and has just enough cycle options. My only observation is that during spin cycles it shakes. It is level so that is not the problem. Plus it doesn’t move on the floor, just shakes. Is this OK or a sign of a problem?

Washes and Rinses so Well. At Times if/when the load is too heavy, U will have to change it from whatever cycle u chose To “drain/spin” so that it can finish. Or else the clothes will sit there saturated. At First I was going to return it, it was so annoying, but since I’ve gotten the hang of it, I decided it was Overall Worth To Keep it.

I like the old washers where the water starts to fill and you can mix in the detergent in with water before adding clothes and add clothes just after the wash starts without locking the lid If you forgot something last minute.
The new machines lock the lid and Water won’t run unless the lid is closed.
Seems to be cleaning well.

Very large capacity washer. Had it for one month with out any trouble. It does take longer to do a load of wash. Possibly due to the water sensing feature. I would buy it again.
