Love the steam for stains feature. Good washer that leaves clothes clean

It sings when it's done and has many settings. Hate the rubber lining inside!

I had my first Maytag washer for more than 40 years with only routine maintenance issues. I've had good luck with other Maytag appliances. However not this one. I bought the machine in May,2018. Twice I've had to have service due to not draining. Service tech said it was due to dog hair accumulating in drain hose. Is this a design flaw or an incompetent service tech? I've recently contacted Maytag for explanation and solution. I'm waiting to find out.

About 3 years ago in December, I purchased a Maytag stuckable set dryer & washer...the door rubber seal just ripped without any justification!! am not happy about to fix it, isn't easy

I am disappointed to say that this washer does not dissolve my Tide Pods. I have tried different temperatures and amounts of clothes and half of the pod gets stuck in the front gasket. I called Maytag and they sent out a repairman who informed me that the machine works fine and it is a soap problem. I never had problems with my old machine.

This thing didn’t make it 6 months with out needing expensive repair service. I would not recommend! The reviews now leave me to believe they are fake reviews! Maytag used to be quality. These units are garbage.

A bit noisy but good sized drum & works great & has user friendly controls

Loving this washer so far! Replaced a 2006 top load Maytag that still worked great but I wanted a front loading machine. Does a great job getting clothes clean, uses very little water, and is WAY more energy efficient than the top loader it replaced! On a regular wash cycle without steam it uses about 80 watts of power during use VS nearly 500 of the old top load. It also gets the clothes nearly dry after the spin cycle. This has decreased dry time by nearly half. I'm using about 38% less energy now per laundry day compared to my old top load. It should pay for itself quickly! I do not have the loud drain pump issue so many talk about. It's not any louder than a previous Samsung front load I had at previous house. The Maytag front loader seems to be built very well. It is a heavy machine and seems to be built with quality in mind. I'm hopeful that I'll get many years of reliable work out of this. Wash times are about 47 minutes for a regular load, 3 hours for a powerwash cycle, and just under two hours for a sanitize cycle with steam and extra rinse with hottest water setting.

I wrote a long paragraph about my experience with this product. The product is great but the installers did NOT have the proper tools nor did they have sufficient time and were very late.

Well I'm a bit unhappy about this item. No water level choices. Did not come with a manual. Tried to call outlet center and got told to call Maytag. Tried to was a large rug and it would not finish cycke.

I had the replace the front panel after about 1 year, now it is acting up again. It will cycle through every option it has when you power it up. Costing me $200 per year to own this machine. Very disappointed. First Maytag I have owned. Will shy away from the brand going forward.
