A: 10/21/2020 I just purchased a new maytag washer & dryer. I HATE THIS WASHER!!!!!!!! A washer MUST have water deep enough so that the clothes agitate freely. There is hardly any water in the tub. I added, by using a bucket, 16 gallons of water just to get enough water to wash a load of laundry. AGAIN, I HATE THIS WASHER. A TOTAL WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED $$$$$. I want my money back and this junky washer GONE!
Q: How long is the cycle time for a normal load with normal soil?
A: momof3, a normal load can run from 45-55 minutes, but it can take longer if the sensors detect the load is off balance for instance, it can make the cycle run longer.
Q: Is the door hinge reversible. In other words, can I order it to open to the right?

A: Yes, I put in a king comforter and a king blanket and it did both very well.
A: Most of the time, I have not had any issues. One time with towels, it was wet and I ran it thru an extra rinse/spin cycle. It was fine after that.
