This maytag washing machine is a nightmare, fills up about 1inch of water then starts to agitate and clothes get wedged underneath agitator as it is agitating with no water, clothes tear, then it will fill again a lil at a time, washed 3 pairs of Jean's and 2 shirts and some socks total wash cycle took 1 hour 20 mins. Wow really, next day washed one blanket total wash cycle took 3 hours 9 mins. Needless to say its going back..

The machine is starting to rust and the plastic on the lid is cracking at the hinge site.

The features on this model is nicer than the previous Maytag washer I had .

Good washer. Like having the agitator. Cleans well.

This washer is huge! Instead of washing clothes 3 times a week, it's now 1 x week. Dial adjustmens allow specialized washing to preferences. Love it!

My Maytag washer. I like my washer because it is big, I wash more clothes in one load, Finally I wash my blankets at home I’m so happy with my new washer.

Washing machine is okay. However the lid around the hinge broke off after 8 months and after I finally got a hold of a repairman to fix it (under manufactory warranty) he knew exactly what part it was without me telling him. A little disappointing that Maytag continues to sell an appliance they know has a faulty lid. Anyway today was my second appointment that was cancelled at the last minute. I have been waiting now for my new lid to be installed. After receiving countless emails and texts to make sure I am available, so that you are not inconvenienced, then you cancel without notice.

Works great, but you'll have to be careful with bulky items such as comforters/blankets - being a top load washer, weight distribution gets messed up easily.

Excellent and dependable. Easy to use. Easy hook up. Very reliable and don't have to worry about balancing the load.

Product is good. My issue is it too deep I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach inside the tub.

Loving my new washer. It is huge. You cannot hear it when you are washing.

Bought this big washer to be able to wash comforters, you can’t; doesn’t get water out completely and agitator is horrible for clothes.

Never again, I will buy this washer. It is so loud the water level is terrible. That was my mistake buying this washer but I have to deal with it.

We needed a replacement washer as ours died a slow death. This May tag top loader is great on water usage and does a great job of cleaning.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this washer is not living up to what I thought. I wash a 2 or more lids of laundry every day and it’s very annoying when you have to babysit your washer to make sure it has enough water. It hardly puts any water in there and then starts the cycle. It’s going to tear up my clothes washing them with no water in the tub! It gets the clothes damp but how is that cleaning them if they are not sloshing around in water. I have now had to start the cycle and after it gets done sensing how much clothes are in there I have to pause it to add water to fill up the tub so it actually washers my clothes. If you spent almost a $1,000 on a washer you shouldn’t have to babysit it and add water. Hopefully I can exchange this for a different one.
