A: There is no warning that can be ignored. The cycle just takes over the machine and I have no say in the matter. Maytag's answer is to reset the machine EVERYTIME it happens? That isn't an answer. It is a punishment. How about a way to turn this stupid feature OFF permanently.
Q: What is the difference between "tap cold" and "cold"?
A: Hi Abby, if you select the tap cold option , the temperature of the water used during the cycle will be equal to the temperature of water from the incoming water supply to your home. In the cold water option, the temperature of the water will be adjusted by mixing some amount of hot water.Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.
Q: Can a King size comforter be washed in this model machine?
A: Yes it can
A: It goes out of balance unless meticulously balanced. And i can not figure a way to open machine and redistribute items without the machine cancelling the cycle and me having to start over from beginning. Why make a large capacity machine that will not handle large items?. Repair man told me to take quilts, dog beds , small throw rugs to laundromat. Hate this machine. I'm also afraid to leave the house when it is running. It has on one occasion bounced around the laundry room doing damage.
A: Mine did the same thing after trying to use the Afresh cycle. I still don't know why it started working again, but it appears to have had something stuck under the wash plate (Afresh powder?) that made it sense something wrong. After moving the wash plate back and forth a few times it started working again.
Q: Does this machine have interior lights?
A: Hi Victor. There is no light inside of this Maytag® Washer.
Q: what do i need to buy to install right away, does machine have water control level or adjuster?
A: To install right away, you will need hot and cold water hoses. The washer comes with the drain hose and power cord. This washer autodetects the amount of water needed based on the weight of the wash load after the clothes are added, the lid is closed, and the wash type/preferences are selected. It has a “Deep Fill” option, but even with that, the machine determines the amount of water used.
Q: Can the agitator be removed?
A: The agitator on this Maytag® Washer cannot be removed. We hope this helps!

Maytag Washer Review
This top loader Maytag washer with the agitator does a good job. It’s 5.2 Cu Ft, slightly smaller than the 5.3 Cu Ft washer without an agitator that we really wanted, but that was out of stock without any realistic assessment of when it would be back in stock. This one got much better reviews anyways, so here we are. We really have been completely satisfied with it. The capacity is huge and it cleans well. I love how it squeezes the water out of the towels during the high speed spin cycle. They are so much dryer than our older Maytag washer, that does not have the high speed spin cycle.

WOW! what an Upgrade from our 26 year old Maytags
Just used them for first time, they are very impressive the ease of making setting and there performance Outstanding. Only problem was factory to cheep to give you an operators manual had to get Online. And the installer accidentally set the washer to French, service call to the factory to get procedure to reset that, But hey we are working now Hope they last like the old ones.

Great washer just don’t last
This is a great machine. Super quiet, clothes come out clean. Looks nice. Has all the settings. I’ll never use half of them. The only bad thing is this is my 2nd one. 1st one quit just after 2 years old. So if you buy it you better get the extended warranty. Because according to the repairman that came to my house. Which I sent away after hearing it would cost more to fix it than replace it. Anyway he said none of the new style washers last like they used to. Those days are over. I did try to buy another brand that people were bragging about, but it got delivered and didn’t work right out of the box. So I will recommend this washer only because there’s no great options out there.
