Purchased Eero Aug 2017, I liked the simple set up, idea of having internet coverage throughout the home and app — worked perfectly for first 6 weeks then problems began. Signal began to drop and like most of us would blame the cable company. However, problem lies in the router. Have Nest cameras set up to run 24/7 for security reasons and am able to see when the cameras are offline. Contacted Eero and was patient going back and forth with calls and emails trying to troubleshoot. It is known that the router and beacons automatically update the OS version to latest on their own. The faulty router failed to download the new OS while the beacons were able to. Hence the problems began. Despite trying to download the new version thru the app, it is still unable to. The system works fine when unplugging and rebooting system over and over. And over and over. But the signal always drops over several hours on their own. It’s been weeks since the initial complaint and tired of unplugging and plugging back the power to make this thing work. Eero has not responded, review may change based on their response. Currently looking to buy new router that is more reliable.

I bought the pack of 3 and brought them home. In 10 minutes or less - entire home, yard, outdoor patio, and garage were lit up with super fast WiFi - full strength. This system is extremely efficient and easy to setup. Plug and play easy setup. Before we were using a single Apple AirPort Extreme router. This would be on my top 5 list of purchases for 2019 maybe top 3. Highly recommend.

Installed about a month ago. Works very well. Wi-fi signal throughout house for the first time. Would recommend. Did have some problems with our DSL provider's modem, but was resolved.

Needed to replace my old router. Our new house had some challenges with regards to wifi coverage over the main floor and basement. The Eero with it's 2 satellite Eero has completely solved our problems. Great strong fast wifi all over the house now. And I'm not getting wifi speeds promised by my internet provider that I never got before. Best of all, the phone App makes is unbelievably easy to set up as well as manage. We LOVE IT!

This system is the exception to the “too good to be true” adage. While some might see it as expensive, it’s worth the money. Easy to install and the eero app walks you through every step and the performance far exceeds any other router I’ve ever had. I’ve had it for a month and even with a couple of power interruptions, I have not had to reboot it as I did repeatedly with lesser routers. To me, well worth the money.

We always had spotty internet in the house due to the remote location of the router. Even on a TV only two rooms away there was constant connectivity problems with Netflix. After installing this and a new router we have seamless coverage all throughout a 3500 square foot house, even though the router in in one far corner. Now we stream with ease, wish I'd done it sooner.

I have had this mesh WiFi for about a month and no complaints. I have used a single dual band router for years and the new system is MUCH better! Especially with having a 3 level home and more than ten devises connected. Set up was easy and app is amazing! If you’re looking at upgrading your home network go for it you shouldn’t be disappointed.

We were having a lot of issues with our streaming and devices that hooked to our WiFi and every since we up graded to the eero we have had 0 issues with related to our WiFi

My home is approx 3600 sq ft and needed a boost to send the WiFi signal to the upstairs bedrooms that was farest away from where the connection comes in for our steaming tv service. This was a simple set up with a phone app. It took a few tries to find the right plug in the central part of the house. Once we found the proper location, it has never dropped the signal, works perfectly. Highly recommended.

I installed two of these systems so far, one for a friend and the other for my parents. Both love how much faster their wireless is and not having to worry about dead spots

This was truly plug and play. The app is very easy and makes set up a breeze. I like that it creates a second network that you can name and protect differently than your current home network. Even wifi signal distribution throughout the house. Total set up ~10 minutes and I havent touched it since. Have not switched SONOS over, but that is more of a SONOS review than an Eero review.

I replaced a single router, which covered our 3-story home fairly well, with this mesh system. While I would like more ports in the eero unit, I bought a switch to get around that. I really like being able to move the beacons around to any outlet to adjust coverage as needed. And, you can always purchase additional beacons if you need more coverage.

Pros: Easy setup Very good coverage decent app control good tech support only support for AC1200 speeds. Cons: Cannot hide the network name/sid (eero 's claim that they very secure). but not able to see the network is the 1st decent defense I have a Gigabit internet connection but the app shows only 100MB documentation is very minimal. you will end up feeling like you are enrolling in school to find out info that you need (a lot of searching) only support for AC1200 speeds. There are other comarable ones supporting AC2200/3000 app needs a bit more info/controls like the beacon area of coverage instead of "good job"

The system covers my whole 3000 sq ft house and we have 16 different devices all hooked up to it at once... The only thing they don’t tell you is that you have to contact you service provider to give them the new modem info so they can hook it up for you! After that it’s super easy. Just use the app.

Was having trouble finding a good mesh system that worked will with my xfinity internet. Used google wifi in the past but after getting wireless boxes I had to get a new gateway and couldn't enable bridge mode as the wireless boxes run only off of the xfinity gateway with no way to change networks. I tried the xfi pods which sucked, then tried the google wifi system, then the google nest wifi system and all were terrible coverage wise. Home isn't large only approx 1800 sq feet but kept dropping signal at end of home and all router points would constantly lose signal from each other. Read reviews about this Eero system and figured I'd give it a try. WOW is all I can say. I should have gotten this from day one. Setup was super simple, and the coverage is constant and speeds are amazing. Even in the furthest end of the house, I am now constantly getting over 200megs download where with the others I'd be lucky if I got to 50megs. Would highly highly recommend for anyone looking for great coverage. Oh and the built in nightlight may seem like an unnecessary feature, but it did come in handy navigating in the middle of the night.

Needed to add more stations to the eero mesh network to get good coverage in an older home with lath and plaster walls that are harder for wifi to penetrate. This set did the trick. Super essy to add onto existing mesh. Then some slight redistribution of units and got good service all thru the house. Plug In units work great in hallway/walkway where a table top unit would be awkward.

I had some weak/dead spots in my home where my wireless would fade in an out. The Eero system eliminated that and provided coverage well beyond including outside.

I have 3500 sq ft house and had many dead spots with no wifi coverage. Set up the erros in 15 min and it gave me complete coverage in my house. $$$$ but worth it.

My house was built in the 1950s, there is shiplap in the walls, not showing like Chip and Jo would want, but it was horrible for my previous wifi. The EERO can penetrate it all and I have top speeds all around the house. One of the easiest setups of the system I have ever done; all you do is step by step from the app.

Purchased this home WiFi system based on employee recommendation at my local store here in Charlottesville Va. set up was a breeze and it has my whole 3800sq ft house covered no dead spots. Even have coverage outside the home and it’s totally secured. Has feature to set up sleep time for kids and to see the speed of system. Automatically updates!!! A must for any home!!!!
