    I purchased this product almost 2 years ago. It worked great for about a year. The connectivity of it seemed to diminish considerably after the first year. We have the main in the office on our main floor. One beacon is on the other side of the house in our kitchen. Directly under the office we have a smart tv that struggle to pick up a signal. We have the other beacon placed in the same room as that tv. connectivity in the lower level is not good at all any more. When first set up, there were not any dead spots. Main floor is okay but downstairs is not good. I am looking into getting a different system to replace it.

    The first one didn’t work, so it was exchanged for a different version. I know other people who have this and love it so it’s difficult for me to truly judge it based on mine alone.

    I’ve got a 4500 sq ft house and the 3 pro’s that I started with left tons of dead spots. Had to buy another pro/2 beacon pack making this around $700. It’s locked up several times in just two weeks requiring a reboot. Not really impressed but not a lot of options though.

    Could not get them to work in my home. I tried everything. I guess it is my house. I put the main one in the center of my house near where my Internet comes in the house. I put the satellite ones scattered throughout my home per the instructions and the signal was no better then before.

    Here it is July 2021 and I've had to replace my Eero WiFi 5 system. It would be one thing to do it because I wanted to upgrade, but that's not the case here. My Eero router died...it felt like it was overheating or something. I have now replaced it...but not a good feeling to replace something so utilitarian after such a short amount of time.

    I bought this and returned it almost immediately upon discovering that it would not suffice for my house. I would need to buy yet another beacon. For that, I decided to just return it and get a different one with two beacons AND the router.

    Your Eero will do updates every night at a set time and there is no way to change causing unwanted outages. Also good luck if it fails in any updates, mine has repeatedly failed for months called and no fix for it. It finally crapped out today no amount of restarts etc.. to fix the issue. Glad I got the Geek squad

    I did not see such a great difference from this product and my regular wifi router and I live in a row home 2 floors, with a basement, about 1500 sqft , also be aware that after a year the support for this product is long gone, so if it breaks or something goes wrong with this expensive device there’s nothing that can be done, my suggestion is get a Best Buy extended warranty.

    I rented an Eero system from Sonic (my ISP) and was very happy so I decided to purchase a system rather than paying the rental fee. The box for this router system says "replace your router in 10 minutes," which is technically true, but the new router WORKING is a different matter. The gateway station could not properly sync with my ISP. I called the Eero help desk, and after 45 minutes of going through their check list they agreed to send me a new base station in the next day or two. After two days, nothing. I called back, and Eero says that no RMA has happened, and I get a ticket number, and I should get a new Eero pro (gateway) on Tuesday, 6 days after calling in with a critical concern. $400 should buy a quality piece of electronics PLUS unimpeachable customer service. So far, I'm very disappointed with Eero's product and customer experience.
