Overall good purchase. It's nice to be able to video chat on tv. Picture quality is good, camera follows you and the device also also doubles as a streaming device. However the sound quality of the microphone is contingent upon your proximity. If too far away I find myself yelling.

The camera is awesome, it zooms and pans out depending on who is in frame and where they are in correlation to the camera which is really cool! Very user friendly. Even with a mute button and shutter for camera, we still unplug it because we don’t quite trust Facebook, so 4 stars

This is a great way to turn your TV into a personal video conference system for facebook users. We got 2 for when my daughter moved out of state and now we can quickly and easily do video calls from our living room and not have to gather around an ipad or phone. Easy to set up and use and just works.

My mom loves using this as I got it for her for her a mother's day gift. She can talk to family with just a click of the button, or saying "Hey Portal call..." Since she uses her tv and moves around the room, this thing follows her everywhere. She loves it a lot!

Facebook Portal is a great way to have to get together with Family and Friends on the big screen of your TV so the whole group is involved. works really well and the camera will follow you when you move around. Definitely recommend and is a great way to get together during the pandemic.

I love this thing! The video has way better resolution and has better zoom than my Logitech webcam I was using. And the fact that it integrates with Messanger and has apps like Plex adds icing to the cake.

Love it for what it is. I use it for whatsapp calls and also zoom workouts. I don't think it is for everyone. But, overall the camera, call quality and its ability to zoom in and out is amazing.

I picked one of these up for my 88 yr old uncle...He lives far from me, so I figured if he is on facebook why not video chat, the best part is a not a apple or a android its it own thing.. And it has amazon in it, I just followed the prompts and I was in.. so much fun and really easy to use

I love this product and I am presently researching which one to add as a purchase for my daughter and ship it to her for a present. I like everything about the device and want another to help me remain in touch with my family members during this challenging time with the pandemic.

The portal has some very cool features that make it worthwhile- the movement of the tracking camera helps when a busy 2 1/2 yo is the focus of the visit. The animation makes for some funny times and keeps everyone’s attention. We need to work through the rest but so far it’s a win !!

We both three of these for ourselves and both sets of grandparents to keep in touch especially during this COVID season. It is easy to set=up and use. The video and audio quality are very good. I like the camera features that adjust to the people in the room. Very good purchase

I think everyone should have. It works well, and good quality. At first, updating the remote was a challenge but after a few tries, it worked well. I think this is an issue with all portal remotes. Not complicated but need to restart a few times at the beginning.

Love this Portal TV. It's been useful for a while for messenger video call or Zoom meeting. However, for Zoom you can't blur background or add virtual background. It keeps your hands free.

Great features include simple set up and that it follows you around the room. Video quality is alright. Overall, not the same close-up experience as using a tablet or computer. We like it but just don’t use it as often as we thought for these reasons.

Ordered for our son who lives out of state, easy to use and set up... still trying to figure out why the camera zooms over to my annabelle doll every time but we love the device and will be buying for our son in the military and daughter when she moves to Missouri. Very happy

I have nearly bought 10 of these and gifted to friends and families. Each one of them enjoyed so much. A highly comfortable and hi-tech video calling device that has numerous smart features.

My kids loved facebook portal when they chat with their grandparents. I am now not giving them the phone and they can just chat freely looking at the tv. my parents are happy too because they can see us all together in one frame.

At the first impression, this just comes across as a glorified (and expensive, lol) webcam. But don't let that fool you - Portal is amazingly fun, and easy to use. Once hooked up to the TV, this is so reminiscent of the SiFi movies from the past. The execution of this product however is super futuristic!!

We LOVE this Facebook portal Tv! It's so much easier to see family as a whole, instead of just whomever is holding the phone! I did take a while to set it up, because the updating of the unit and its features, Netflix e.t.c, but overall very happy with this purchase!!
