This is great if you have little ones and you don't want to hold your phone while taking care of something else. Also the follow me camera it's a great feature, camera is moving wherever you move and zoom in as well. Definitely recommend.

I would have given this 5 stars except that it does not yet support zoom calls. The other Portal devices support zoom but not the Portal TV. Other than that the system works as expected, good video and the follow me is nice.

we love our portal tv. it feels like our grandchildren, children, and parents are all sitting in the same room. and during this pandemic its a relief to be able to have some resemblance of closeness and this allows that for our family.

Great! it is simply a no-brainer. Bought two of them, easy to place video conference calls, and the feature that has that the camera follows the person is great!. Will totally recommend it.

We used this over the Christmas holidays so that we could share Christmas morning with our family on both coasts. Two of us had a Portal TV and the other used FB Messenger and it worked like a charm. Almost as good as being there.

Great product. Our family was able to finally see our family in another state, due to COVID, that reside in a assisted living facility. Staff at the facility were a great help for installing it to our family's TV and setting it up.

The Portal TV is fantastic for making video calls. Focusing the camera on the speaker or the most activity in the room is a very nice feature. Unfortunately, the remote isn’t well-designed and constantly stops working. There is an app on the phone that functions as a remote, so that helps. And you can usually follow the troubleshooting guidelines to get it going again, but doing a factory reset because the remote stopped working is a pain. My family has three Portal TVs, and each of them has had remote difficulties.

I do not like Facebook at all but the Portal is great. I chat with my brother and nephew in Salem, MA; my Mom in Albany, NY and my brother in San Francisco all on my 55" TV which really lets my 1 year old nephew get immersed in our calls! Love it!

My family lives far away so i bought it for my Mom And Dad for there anniversary and bought myself one. Put it to hour 70 inch and its like being ther with them.

We had a smaller unit with like a 7 in. screen hard to see the grand kids and for the 2 of us to stay in the picture. Now we set on the couch and look at our 55 in. tv setting about 8 ft away and they can see us and we can see them. Love it.

My only regret is not buying this sooner. Voice controlled calling and answering, it follows you throughout the room so you can either do what you usually do in the room (or more) the t.v. is connected to. You can clean, do a hobby, laundry, etc... and keep a clear view conversation with someone via FB messenger or What's App. Or you can just sit and have a conversation with them on a big screen. Facebook watch party is fun, interactive story time is great with family and the kiddos and there's just a bunch of fun features. We're looking forwatd to what new updates will bring. We ended up getting the regular Portals for my mother and mother & law and again come up I just wish we would have done it sooner. Those are touch screen and apparently have more apps but we prefer the really big t.v. screen for viewing.

I'm very happy with this product, I found some app I didn't exepect. I only there was WebEx too, I would have bought another one for my office. It's works smoothly and love the simple remote

I have it 4 stars instead of 5 because we have had some small issues with doing group video calls through the messenger rooms option. A simple unplug and plug back in fixed the issues. Also disappointed that zoom is not yet supported on Portal TV when it is an option for the other versions of Portals. Other than those issues, we have really enjoyed it and the live Portal TV app is really cool. It has a decent number of channels (no local channel options), with some movie options as well. I really have enjoyed using it and every time we get on there we find something new to be able to use. Very pleased overall with it and have bought one for my parents. We actually had a “portal Christmas” this year.

I just love be able to sit around with the family and see more than one person at a time! We bought one for other family too! Could be more compatible with other communication platforms though but then again it’s a Facebook monopoly

NOT TOO BAD TO SET UP TOOK ABOUT HALF HOUR. PICTURE IS GREAT WHEN CONNECTING WITH OTHER USERS. A GREAT WAY TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS ESPECIALLY AT THIS TIME WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

Very fun and useful, especially right now with all thats going on in the world. It has a bunch of good and fun features. Will definitely keep the boo bug away. Helps feel not so alone. Better than just a video call on your phone. They need to make the ease of set up easier and less confusing. Especially with the picture set up and if you have more than one account with it. Overall I like it so far. We sent as gifts to our kids out of town with them also having kids so we could talk and play. It has cool feature besides just the effect of the normal messenger app. So its good to keep in contact with your long distance loved ones. I'll update once they all recieve theirs. See how the whole group call goes.

Works great with my TV. Very low profile. Can't wait until I have the time to discover everything it can do. Love the feature that has it following me around the room.

Very easy way to stay in contact with loved ones it's not easy to see in-person. Love it. We bought one for ourself as well as both of my in-laws and my siblings. Everybody loves them. Very very simple to set up.

Fantastic device. It is easy to set up. And video call feature on a big screen with motion detection is fabulous. Price is match less

We bought this so that we could watch, and see, our son while stationed far from home in the Navy. It is nice to see him on the big screen as opposed to a little cell screen. Great purchase.
