I absolutely love this thing the way auto focuses wherever you move in the room I just wish that I could use duo on it because that is what I use mainly to talk to everyone I know but it's OK I will start using Facebook lol

This is the 5th Portal TV I have purchased. Now everyone in our far flung family has one and we can get together whenever we like no traveling involved! Facebook is constantly updating and improving the things Portal can do. The kids love the special effects.

It’s great for zoom meetings. But not user friendly, and therefore, a limited useless software that can’t be alternated inside of a great device

This has been great tools transform our living room tv for fun video call. Loved both the integration video call for whatapps and facebook right on your tv and come with remote control and built-in Alexa.

The best HD camera on the market for a family group chat. My family lives overseas and i connect with them every week with out the hassles of holding the phone. I turn it off when not in use for privacy reasons..

This is a great compliment to my tv and sound bar. Having Portal on top of my tv is so convenient. It allows me to work and attend meetings at the same time. Also, I video chat with my wife throughout the day.

Love this !! set up is medium complexity but not impossible. Recommend having your wifi, facebook and alexa passwords handy. I bought one for myself, my dad and my brother. absolutely love being able to see them when I talk to them.

We love this product. It has let us share holiday dinners with family across the country, since travel has been restricted due to COVID. It helped keep us from feeling so isolated and is a much better experience than a zoom call.

Works pretty well. Would like more apps (discord) or a fully functional browser. For straight zoom or what'sapp it does well. Must admit I am more forgiving as I bought it for 1/2 price.

Out of the box it work. Two weeks later on our grand son's birthday they could hear us we couldn't hear them. If you leave the HDMI plugged in keeps the Sony TV from powering off always

The product is great. We did a couple of family “calls” and we saw everyone in our big TV. However they didn’t see us very well. Because they are watching via their phone or portals. Ideally, everyone in our family should have one of these

The Portal was a little difficult to set up and use, but now we are old pros. I like that we can block the camera lens we we are not using it. With the pandemic we are going to give it as Christmas gifts to our kids. It's much better than facetime.

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but this is awesome! The camera follows you and it catches a large piece of the room and quality is strong.

Medium difficulty to set up. Wish it was built into the operating system of the tv, or had more functionality like my old Xbox Kinect device with its awesome games. But as is. The active camera is great. The AR masks are super fun. When I try to call people they can’t seem to pick up or are confused about what’s going on. Convinced my mom to get one and it’s been a couple weeks and she’s been mystified about setting it up. I’ve walked her through setting up other devices like amazon echo stuff but she hits a wall w her portal. Hope to get more family on portal so we can share video chat on the tv. Right now it’s still a dream...

Was told that it is computer/laptop compatible but I had a hard time setting up. End up buying the other portal devices instead.

Works well. Directions not great and had to deal with tech support. Tech support was helpful. Issue was a sticker showing how camera closes which needs to be removed but instructions do more tell you to do so.

Great camera to use with to video call with grandparents, especially in COVID times. Software works great tracking our little one who is always on the move. Eliminates our toddler crying about wanting our phones while using Facetime.

Gave 2 of these to my daughter and friend, so they communicate cross country. They both say the picture is sharp on the television set and the camera works great - zooms in and out and follows you (to a certain extent). Worth the money!

Great way to experience distant family while celebrating events at home. Digitally tracks and focuses on people in the room to provide the most inclusive experience to the end viewer.

Its working great so far, haven’t used it too much, but kinda like it in whatever ways this was used u til now. I liked the auto focus adjustment capability.
