Gave 2 of these to my daughter and friend, so they communicate cross country. They both say the picture is sharp on the television set and the camera works great - zooms in and out and follows you (to a certain extent). Worth the money!

When I first saw the commercials I was crazy for this and soon after it was mine so I only use it for a month until my wife took it from me and been using it ever since

I bought one for myself and one for both my sisters family. Got some real use out of them during the lockdown. Seems like we stay on these calls longer than FaceTime. Good seeing everyone in frame.

A great product to have when seeing family and friends who live far away or you are unable to be with during the Covid-19 pandemic! Make sure both parties have Facebook in order for this portal to be a success!

I do like a lot of things about it, except for one biggee for me; I would like the Ability to zoom in and out manually. It adjust the zoom on its own and basically what it wants to look at, but there are times where I’d like to zoom so that the people can see my entire body but it won’t allow me to do that manually. I did end up chatting with Facebook portal helpdesk, but they did admit it is not a feature that they currently have. He did suggest I leave a suggestion on the website which I did. It did seem as though other people wanted the same thing, so maybe it will be a upgrade in the future.

Absolutely the best way to have a video conference. Would be nice if it’s supported more apps and more video conferencing options but it’s a Facebook product so we should only expect to support Facebook messenger and WhatsApp

Portal TV makes the Video Call experience hands free and kind of turns the living room to a proper conf call setup without much effort.

Bought for my parents to be able to facetime with grandkids. Sonce they live in country and dont have best Wi-fi its not the best connections

Easy set up. Connects you with your Messenger friends. It was a gift for my mother. Now she can visit with her granddaughters using her television. It’s like grandma ‘s in the same room!

Kinda iffy on buying the tv portal figuring the image quality would not be too good on my 65 inch tv. It is great, as long a the person you are face timing has a decent phone or another portal. Love it.

Facebook portal Tv is an excellent device for video calls on TV. I bought it because I make WhatsApp/Facebook video calls a lot. The best part about this device is the smart camera that reframes as we move.

the portal was sold out when i sought to buy it for christmas for my parents and brother. The one I ordered for my parents i had no problems with since ordered it under my name and picked it up personally. The one i ordered for my brother was delivered to another city. When he tried to pick itup he couldn't. I tried everthing. Online, visited Best Buy personally, online again, everything to add my brother's name so that he could pick up his gift. Nothing worked and the order was cancelled. I was surprised i t was practically impossible to add his name to pick up in the city he lived in...

Love the concept but since it connects to tv you can’t use it in other parts of the home. Also we got it for our toddler/grandparents but since she’s only 2 it sometimes can’t find her on the camera.

Very happy great way to communicate. However one of the 4 units I purchased keeps turning off the TV it is connected to. But this has been great for my elderly dad to commodity his grandchildren.

Fun Storytime and family get togethers using this device. Much easier than Zoom or Google Meet. The entire TV is the viewing area and the sound goes directly through the Home Theater System.

This is an excellent device. The camera clarity is astounding and you can see more of the room that you are chatting in. It is light and small but very compacted with high quality technology.

We moved over 800 miles from our family for health reasons and this was a wonderful way to keep in touch with kids and grandkids!

Great for long distance video calls with my family back in the UK. Privacy is second to none, the camera and can be disabled at the touch of a button and all calls and messages are encrypted.
