I have one of these and so do my parents and I love it. I have 2 yr old twins so having this is awesome communication between me and my parents in another state is amazing. So some amazing things, the story time is great. This app gives you books but uses your face like Llama llama. The video also follows you around automatically based on sound and movement and zooms in and out. This is really a great way to communicate with family and I suggest everyone gets one as an alternative to phone video chatting

Bought this for my elderly parents for Christmas and they love it. They have enjoyed seeing their grandchildren and great grandchildren on their large tv full screen. My mother doesn’t see well and this has been a game changer It has brought them so much joy.

I am very happy with the video calling capability of this Facebook portal. I got one and sent the other to my sister out of state. My sister is not tech savvy at all but my 13 year old niece was able to set this up with no problem. Now we are able to video call multiple times a week. We both set ours up on the entertainment centers in our living rooms, near our TVs, and I love that the camera follows us as we move around the room and adjusts focus to accommodate when others walk in or out. Sometimes we are on calls for hours, not realizing that the time has passed - even if we're not talking, it's like we're in the same room together. The built in Alexa is an added bonus because I find it so convenient that I can use it to control my music, especially while I'm cleaning or cooking dinner in the adjacent kitchen. My kids love that they can use YouTube to play their favorite videos. I will be purchasing 2 more of these for my grandmas so that they can keep in touch with my sister as well - I have no doubt that they will have no problems using them.

We've used video chat for Family Holidays for 10 yrs. We live in Ohio and have recently expanded Hey Portal to 4 other locations while gathered together. From: Burlington, Ontario Canada, Santa Rosa, CA, Seattle, WA, and a Pandora, Ohio Nursing facility. It's like we're in the same House. We've used 'Hey Portal' to 4 other locations gathered together, i.e. Burlington, Ontario Canada, Santa Rosa, CA, Seattle, WA, and Pandora, Ohio Nursing facility. We can visit just as though they were present in the room.

Yes, Portal TV is neat but very clunky and limited in my opinion. The reason for this was to make it easier for my father and mother to see my 4 kids on a big screen. Well, here is the issue, no matter what, each user has to have a Portal TV. I got it to work with my father as he has a Portal TV now but my mother 3000 miles away, she cannot be found by the Portal TV. That to me is a waste of a product and bad design. The TV function is neat seeing videos from what I follow but the main function is a fail. It is sad my $39 tablet does more that this. Picture quality is good and speed is great, only reason for the 2 stars.

Works as describe. My whole family has one now. Makes it extremely easy to video chat with the family at the same time from multiple states.

Interesting. Bought one for me and one for my grandmother. it's a trip seeing her on a 70 inch TV. We have fun with all of the effects. Also was great to include an out of state family member for a birthday party he was missing.

This is really cool device, thanks to it, we have been able to keep in touch with our grandma during this Covid-19 pandemic, she doesn't feel lonely anymore, and is super easy for her to use it, just a few clicks on the remote to answer/call.

The camera on this thing is amazingly clear. It even tracks your movement around the room so you can focus on different things while still keeping your focus.

Everything about this is awesome. From the picture quality, to the interactive books my 7 year old daughter loves to read, to the price. Couldn’t be happier.

My parents love it! Easy to use, sit on the couch and visit with their grandkids!

Don't buy thinking you are going to get this before Christmas. That ain't happening
