It was a normal Christmas in 2020, except it wasn't entirely normal. This year I received a gift I've been asking for since it came out. I got the Meta Quest 2 and it made it the best Christmas I've had in years. Although quickly I realized it was actually the WORST Christmas I've had. Do not buy this product. The Meta Quest 2 was pretty complicated when I first played it, the way to buy games is over an app on your phone and that can be confusing. At times the app can even cause complications if you randomly get logged out and don't remember your password. The design of the actual Meta Quest 2 appears very slick and has an aesthetically pleasing look to it. When wearing the headset it is very front heavy, having nothing to weigh down the back of it. The straps help with this problem but they can get uncomfortable very fast, even being able to tighten and loosen them. Although the design of this product improved a lot from the first one, one of the only major changes is more games and it still has a very thin portfolio of games. The games can also be quite expensive on top of buying the headset, with most games priced around $20-60. With the price point of the headset being $400 on its own this can cause even more restrictions with the games you can play. Overall, the product is enjoyable but not worth the money. Personally, I would buy a VR headset that's able to be connected to a computer. I still think this product is still a very good thing to use to play with your friends or family online but it has some major flaws that can be improved on that I'm hoping the Meta Quest 3 fixes.

It does everything that it’s supposed to do but it is heavy and begins to hurt after a bit. The performance is operational but tends to crash a lot.
