This was purchased was purchased as a Chris gift for my 14 yo son. I did hella research in comparison to the Meta Quest 3 and figured I’d go with the 2 until the kinks are worked out with 3. It doesn’t disappoint! Will be purchasing one for myself (37 yo mom) ;)

Great product but I got tired of it very quickly. Some will love vr and some won’t but I definitely recommend.

Me and my kids loved it, I love that there is no console or computer required too. Also it is more than just games they have allot of therapy type experiences for it as well which I found awesome. I do wish there was more available for free because allot of the games have to be purchased but they do have a small selection of games for free on the oculus store, overall very satisfied with this purchase.

I guess if you use it as a complement device to your PC to get a VR experience in games you play than it might be worth it. But as a standalone product (as FB currently actively advertises it) it is mostly a geek toy. My kids had some fun initially, first few days, with Beat Saber, RecRoom, some other games, but they became bored very fast and quickly went back to Roblox and other games on their laptops. Yes, it is fun for friends gatherings as entertainment, but since you can't play together and you need a lot of space, it is not ideal. The traditional console is much better. My sound had a birthday recently. We had an Xbox Series S and this Oculus, and although every kid on the party tried Oculus once or twice, and one (5yo) kid really liked it, most quickly switched to XBox. Oculus does have a novelty factor, but the selection of games is very poor. Some videos are cool, like the one narrated by David Attenborough, but in general - not there yet. And apps/games are so outrageously expensive. Doing physical exercises app has a subscription of $19 per month! Not one-time payment, but MONTHLY subscription. Maybe it is fun to try it, but exercising with big something on your head isn't such a great experience, and I don't many will continue to do it after a couple of extensive sessions. Apple Fitness plus provide much more for less money, and better integration with other Apple devices, including AW. So yeah, you can spend $299 on Oculus, but expect it to spend most of the time on your self or in the closet

My 13 yr old son absolutely is loving the quest 2…. He says it’s the best thing ever!!!

Great item and fun to play! However had to return first unit due to fan noise showing up.

As expected my kids love it. This is our 4th one for the household. The worst is that the head strap gets dirty fast and breaks easily so I suggest a back up.

Great Christmas gift for son that everyone’s enjoying. It’s a little difficult to put the wrist band on, and I must keep reminding everyone to stay out of swinging distance. To our family it’s a very new experience of gaming, that we recommend to anyone to try.
