Bought this for the Kiddos but wondering if I might steal it from them! We’ve had a PlayStation VR but now having an oculus we may never go back. The ease of setting it up combined with the safety features and no wires makes it the best VR right now.

To be honest, I thought it was kind of a gimmick before I put it on however, after using my daughters headset briefly I ordered a second one for myself. This has been one of the best purchases I ever made, and would suggest anyone to give it a try, the possibilities for entertainment such as movies TV Games to anything you could imagine such as productivity for work as available now for sure there is room to grow but it’s still early for VR I would’ve quit this to the beginning of the Internet. The possibilities are endless again who would recommend for anyone this has been the best purchase. I know I’m repeating myself that I have ever made.

Family hasn’t been able to put it down since we got it. Even better than I expected. Definitely feel “immersed” in another world while playing! Better safety features than I thought to keep you safe while playing. Feels like a quality product too.

Overall a wonderful system. Bought it for my younger brother as a Christmas gift back in 2020 and it has to be his most beloved console system to this day. He's a gamer so I wanted to make sure I got him something he'd love. I did a bit of research on the system ahead of time and saw most of the free downloadable items were usually demos, so maybe put a little extra aside/buy a gift card to buy your game(s) of choice. Overall, very easy to navigate and operate. Great speakers. Very immersive. I plan on getting one for myself to play with my little brother in what he likes to call the "metaverse" haha!

My son had been wanting this for a while and he loves it! It's a very cool VR set. a little heavy if you use it for too long but very nice. the controllers are also easy to use. You will need to buy games for it but ir's pretty awesome.

I just bought this for my son, he can't put it down. Get the extra battery pack, definitely a must. This thing is pretty cool for the whole fam.

No high expectations for this item. We just hoped for it to meet its value for the very reasonable price. It succeeded! For a basic value headset this little baby fit the bill. Didn't expect to be transported to the Holodeck or plucked from my body to explore the greater expanses of the Universe, but it's fun and enjoyable for a starting entry into the VR world. Very happy to have ordered the strap with battery. It's made the experience much better than it would be without. The cord, which was quickly found by a conscientious associate in the store, was a useful addition. THANKS for a positive entry level experience to this technology.

At first I was skeptical about the Vr. Boy was i wrong this thing is so much fun. You can lose yourself in it for hours without realizing the day has gone by.

I’ve wanted this for 2 years now... just to play one game... I’ve realized it has so much more to offer and the graphics are amazing... If you are in the fence... get it!! my only complaint is the battery life is only about an hour or 2

My kiddos love it! It's pretty cool, but I have to limit their time on it. While the feel is fairly realistic and good graphics, it can be dizzying. If the user is not grounded, it's easy to fall over or bang into something with the joy sticks. I tried it and had (and still do) a difficult time adjusting the headset. My head is not bigger than average but every time I use it, I have to hold the headset on my head. The back should be weighted down with something. Something more like a helmet would be a better design. As it is, it keeps falling down on my face. It's not cheap so I feel the headset should fit better. Also, watch for the recall on the foam inside the headset. We took it out. Apparently it was causing rashes to some users.

[Employee of bestbuy] Very fun headset and I’ve spent hundreds of hours playing VR games now in the past couple years. Definitely a great introduction into the gaming medium considering the fact you can play everything stand alone on the headset itself and can plug it into an actual gaming PC for those PCVR enthusiasts. However, my biggest problem with these headsets is the inconsistent quality of the headsets/controllers. I’ve had controllers last me up to a year and I’ve had controllers last me several months, or didn’t even work the first time I used them. I highly recommend anyone getting this headset to get the Best Buy protection plan. If you expect to play VR for a year or longer your headset will eventually run into problems. With Best Buy’s protection plan you have about 2-3yrs to replace the headset/controllers for 1/4 of the price of a headset you’d normally have to pay. And with the way Meta is good luck getting a replacement from them. We also don’t know when the next Quest 3 will be released so being protected up to 1-2yrs from this point is the smartest move.

Having a ton of fun with this, and the kids LOVE it. Wireless VR gaming is incredible. My only complaints are the stock head strap and the battery life. If you’re looking to buy this, buy an aftermarket head strap with a battery pack built in, they’re very affordable.
