It is fairly comfortable to wear, and battery life is decent. Good selection of apps and games. It is great to have access to these in a stand-alone package. This headset can also connect to Steam VR on my PC for access to an even wider selection of games, and using it this way gives even better battery life since it is not running the game on the device itself. Main downsides are 1) the link to Steam VR can be fickle, and if it stops working you need to reboot the Quest, 2) resolution is not the best and reduces the immersion a little, and 3) it's linked to Facebook and requires and account with them. I with there was some actual competition but Facebook/Meta has the low cost VR market cornered.

Best Buy will not repair it even if you pay for it unless you pay 50$ for the warranty. I woukd say make sure they put in witting before you pay for any protection warranty at least you may be civered at least one year. Otherwise you may as well dispose it because they don’t even have manufacture information to provide to cuatomers
