Fantastic! Purchased two and my wife and I have already toured one of Utah's national parks and wildlife in Africa. Looking forward to visiting the pyramids in Egypt next. The coolest part is syncing them so we enjoy as if we are actually on vacation together. For a very senior couple with limited income we are very happy with this investment. Thank you Best Buy!

Bought two of these for my kids for the holidays. They have great quality and are very easy to use. Only issue I had was they must be linked to a Facebook profile. Facebook does not allow kids accounts under the age of 13 per federal guidelines. There potentially is a solution into the future where accounts can be made directly with META the new name for the quest company. Other than that these are great! They even have a digital fence that if you venture outside of it the headset has cameras to allow you to see your surroundings in your home. Very nice safety feature.

Fantastic entry VR headset; quick VR play

This VR headset turned out to be better than I expected. If you want an easy to setup headset, get this. I would recommend getting grips and the Elite headset strap with battery pack to extend the life. A stand and third party USB PC link cable is recommended too. But out of the box, this is the simplest, most user-friendly VR headset for the quality and price that you can get. I've been using VR headsets since 2016 and own 4 much more expensive ones. Highly recommend this one to start. I actually prefer it to more expensive VR headsets I own for quicker pickup and play.

The quest 2 is an awesome VR headset. It doesn't have bulky, cumbersome wires, and it functions completely independently. It has a good battery life, maybe a bit short if you're really into VR but it's nice. The problems I have is that the quest 2 isn't the most comfortable thing unless you buy accessories. Better head strap, more comfortable wrist bands. Controller grips, charging packs to play and charge at the same time, there's a lot of small things that you end up wanting that headset isn't able to account for. With that said, it is still good, but the accessories can get kind of pricey, so be careful if you're hungry for a more comfortable headset

It’s definitely a neat way to explore the world of vr on a budget. It’s a bit of a wonky setup that can be confusing but once you got the hang of it it’s pretty solid. Makes for a great stand alone system. Only draw back is that it’s got a short battery life as a stand alone and that if you have the glasses spacer you forehead may get a tad sore

I bought this for my 8 yr old son for Christmas, only after not being able to find the PS5, and he absolutely loves it! Both of my sons have found this product to be fantastic. and they can play with others, like as playing on PlayStation and XBOX. They haven't told me that they like this better, but I do!! I feels it gives you a different look into games and the games look different. With VR, you are immersed into the game itself and YOU are the player, as opposed to the other gaming systems. It's a wonderful choice and I would recommend this to anyone!

Great introduction to VR gaming and world. Purchased for my son, was able to easily connect to Facebook account and set up was quick. My son loves it, I used it a few times to play some games and the VR and audio is a very immersive experience. You can set a playing field to protect you around your surroundings, when you move out of the field the VR will warn you and allow you to see so you can reset and stay inbound the safe area. Very eager to see what they are able to update in the future. Only cons are some games are really expensive and the battery life on the headset isn't that long so we have to keep the headset on the charger when not using it.

The Oculus was a last min purchase for my son. He truly didn't ask for anything this last Christmas, but I was certain he wanted it. As the last gift under the tree, it was the best. Talk about tears of joy! After thanking me several times and after plugging it in, he began to enjoy. The game play and graphics are amazing. It's so easy to navigate and he quickly became very skilled. I would advise playing in a well lit area to avoid crashes haha. That said, it is one of the coolest new products one the market! We love it!

I love my VR. I DONT love the battery life. Had to buy the extra long cable so I can use without having to stop every hour haha. Other than that it works great you can connect to steam and play other games that are VR as well I like that they added that feature.

Love the meta quest 2 . This is actually the second one that we had purchased. This one will go to my younger son. Would definitely recommend to buy a protection plan, as the controllers are very fragile. Easy to use.so many games you can download . You can even watch tv with it . Only downside is, that the price went up since last year

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Simple setup, a quick app download on my phone and linking her headset effortlessly. There are some free games and offers come through for deals on paid games. Gorilla tag is her favorite so far and it’s a freebie, so have fun! Intuitive interface; create a boundary each play session so as not to hit objects or worse trip over anything. Once out of the boundary you see the world as normal through the built in cameras. PROS: simple setup, decent graphics, large game library, fair battery life, virtually boundary and intuitive controls CONS: can broadcast to phone but not to TV, far better graphics to be had, view can become blurry and headache inducing anytime the headset shifts on face. Is this the best you can buy? Far from it, but neither is it meant to be. It’s a solid entry into the market and great for kids. Far less concern of my preteen breaking a sub $200 set over a $600 PSVR, Mets Quest 3, or worse $1,000+ Vive set

I had been tossing up the idea of getting a VR Headset for some time. I still plan on also picking up the next generation PS5 Headset. In the meantime, I picked up the new Oculus Quest 2. It is SO much fun. I get my workout with Beat Saber (came with the demo and I then purchased the full version), play Super Hot (came with the demo and I then purchased the full version). Super Hot reminds me of being in the Matrix and being able to dodge bullets. The Roller Coaster App makes me a little dizzy, and is better to have a fan going when you play. The eye pieces are adjustable depending on the distance between the eyes (3-positions). I also picked up spacers in case I wear glasses with them. The only downside is that it lasts for about 2 1/2 hours, and takes about as long to charge. You can of course plug it in and use it as well, but you would be limited to how far you can go. I am still tossing up the idea of getting a different head piece. Either way, it is a LOT of fun and would recommend it to anyone who likes to LIVE in the game.

This gaming system is not just for children but for adults too. Love how good the graphics are and real things look. There is a ton of things to enjoy on it besides games. I would definitely recommend to by a better head starp to replace the one that comes it. The one that comes with it not a very good strap.

Bought this for my 12 year old for his birthday, to share with his 9 year old brother. They have had a blast with it; we have BeatSaber, Job simulator, and Super Hot. All of them keep them on their feet and moving, which is great. Quality is excellent. The setup could not be easier. The battery only lasts about two hours of play, but to be honest I see that as a good thing, otherwise they'd never take it off.

amazing just get it, trust its worth every penny. its so fun but it might need a few upgrades, but its honestly a good bang for you buck for what it is you getting the best deal ever especially if you got a pc its even more worth it honestly, its also good fun for the whole family would recommend 10/10 only down side is the battery not lasting long enough but a simple battery bank can help with that.

    Great Entry Level VR

When VR started to get popular, I start my VR journey with a very inexpensive headset that used my phone for the VR. This was ok for what it was, but I didn't realize how much better VR was until I purchased the Quest 2 kit. The Quest 2 kit came with the standard adjustable head strap, VR unit, left and right controllers, an extender for people who wear glasses and need a little more room between their glasses and the VR lenses, and a silicone piece to go around the part that touches your face. Setup is intuitive and the on-screen instructions do a fantastic job on walking you through setup. There are multiple safety features built in to the system. You can set your own play area and be alerted if you get within a certain distance of the edge. I found that it is best to pull the boundary in on all side roughly one foot. That prevents me from hitting a wall if I am near the boundary edge and extend my arms or legs. The controllers take one AA each. In the pictures that I included in this review, you'll notice that I upgraded from the standard adjustable headset strap to the 'elite' strap. The elite strap is a lot more comfortable and very simple to adjust. Simply turn the adjuster left or right to loosen or tighten. Game play is excellent for a VR set in this price range. You do not get the full body tracking like you see in VR sets that cost 5-10 times more than the Quest 2, but I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker. My favorite games I've played so far on the Quest 2 would be the fitness app Supernatural (get ready to sweat), Beat Saber, and Super Hot. This would be an awesome gift for anyone interested in video games.

Since I got it properly adjusted the headset is comfortable and provides an amazing VR experience. It is completely immersive with fantastic sound quality (not hi fidelity, but music sounds good). My wife walks right by me while I’m playing and I have no idea she’s there.

Hands down one of the best purchases of 2020 for me was the Oculus Quest 2. I bought a 256GB for myself, and recently this refreshed 128GB model for a friend. The display, quality, and longevity have been top notch. There are some rough patches on the journey, but overall the Oculus Quest 2 is how VR should be. Overall the physical design is surprisingly light. It's only slightly heavier than my first generation WMR headset. Tracking is lightyears better than the Windows headset, and the display/resolution is just as good. Optics are quite good for the price - this still represents a lower end headset, but most people will be impressed. The Oculus is still immersive, but not in the same way as say the Index or other wide field of vision headset. Controllers are smaller than what I was used to, but they're durable and easy to use for even smaller hands. Triggers are responsive and easy to use, and the Oculus button allows you to re-center yourself easily. Great usability because of that. The wire free nature of the Oculus is one of the biggest selling features, and I can attest - after coming off of a WMR headset - that wire free is the way to go for most games. It's just plain more immersive, and being able to swing away during beat saber is a million times better than worrying about a wire. First party and exclusive games are ok, but the experience is great. Oculus keeps updating the software, and features, flexibility, and battery life all seem to benefit. I've been using the Quest 2 for over 9 months now, and I can attest to the software maturing and benefiting the user experience. The ability to cast, and record is fun. The included band is cheap and not very comfortable. The pro band lasted me like 2 months before breaking (I have a large head, and my kids small heads, so a lot of adjusting seems to have killed it). Third party bands pretty much do the same thing, so I've resigned to replacing them every few months after they crack and break. Overall this is a great time. Software isn't the cheapest, and this is not $4000 gaming PC, but overall the experience is top notch. This is worth your time and money if you enjoy the game selection.

My son has been dreaming of getting a virtual reality set for about a year. He saved his money and just purchased it a month ago. He absolutely loves playing gorilla tag and rec room. It does take some getting used to, his neck and arms were sore the first week but he doesn't have any issues now. It is actually great exercise!
