OMG! I am so impressed with this thing. If you are on the fence about getting one I'm telling you....worth every penny! There are alot of good games available and even the bad ones are still pretty fun. The only thing I feel needs work is the battery life. But I got the power station thing and solved that issue. Plus it made it feel more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

I got this for my 7 year old grandson and he absolutely is thrilled with it. I’m not sure how it all works but am going to look into getting a second battery while other one is charging. The great thing about this is he is not just sitting playing a video game he is up running and moving around with the game he is playing.

a tad heavy and fogs up when playing. The graphics are pretty decent. the controllers go through batteries pretty quickly. Had to return for new once since one controller went bad within t he first month

We got this for my 9 year old son for Christmas and I have been using it just as much as him. I guess our family would be newbies to the vr scene and don’t have much experience with other units. We opted for the oculus 2 because it’s for my son and don’t want to invest so much money into something that a child could probably easily break. My son loves playing Gorilla tag and I have been playing resident evil 4. I can’t believe how real it feels to be in the game. Although it’s the GameCube version it still feels like you’re really in that world. I played that game on release, so being able to revisit in vr, seems like a dream come true. I think that this is the definitive way to play resident evil 4 and can’t wait to see what other great games are out there. My only gripe is that the meta store does not have that many huge titles like say Sony. I would definitely recommend this headset for entry level vr or to casually experience games in a new way.

Since it’s inception, VR has been a technology that has always been pretty mid. Before meta-oculus was making great strides to put forth of product that would make virtual reality mainstream. I’m not a huge fan of the met Company in general, however with their backing oculus products have gone from a novelty to something that may actually push forth into mainstream usage in the coming years. The Meta Quest two is the first legitimate step in making virtual reality, accessible and affordable to vast majority of people who normally would not be able to partake. Priced less than most current gen gaming systems, the Meta Quest two not only allows for gaming applications, but productivity, relaxation and communication. anyone who’s looking to get into the world of virtual reality should start here it’s intuitive and not at all intimidating. I would recommend this to anyone looking to partake in VR, or even people who have had prior experience in VR. 

Meta Quest 2 Advanced all-in-one VR headset is a great introduction to VR. It is loaded with games and activities. I am not tech savvy at all and it was easy to start playing with in minutes, Ride a roller coaster, rock climb, ski , dance and sight see. It is great fun

I wanted to play some vr and asked some of my friends, what would be the best to use at a great price, and they had told me to get the quest 2. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be the best option, but it blew me away. The graphics were amazing, there was no tearing, no lag at all, probably my best purchase to date

Low cost of entry into a new frontier for computing and interaction. This thing changed the way I look at how I expect to interact with computers in the future. It has it's shortcomings, but for $299 it will open your eyes to a whole new world. This is not just a toy either. Research backed innovative guided meditation that simulates psychedelic trips without the drugs. Educational simulation software that allows you to tear down a car engine in real space. The games are fun and immersive, but there is so much more opportunity for learning and growth in this space. I dove in head first to a world I was highly cynical about and now I genuinely believe this type of VR will be a requirement to functioning effectively in the modern world in a matter of years. Yeah, it can be fatiguing and there are certainly some scary implications on the social side and with habit forming and addictive features. There is plenty of VR junk food out there that will steal happiness and productivity from your life, but if you can respect it as a tool it will change how you view so many things.

Excellent product! I enjoy putting this headset on every day. The battery thing is a pain, but just a fast charging power box and long wire and you should be good to go. The controllers tend to gain stick drift fast, but it's manageable. I'm excited for the quest 3 and will be purchasing it.

Metaquest is an amazing purchase as its price and games. Definetaly the choice of intelligence sense the content is at the ready when you look for it. Shorts you hhappen to be developed seem hand picked and the chat rooms are just meant for the strangers. Real community adventures and the comfort with comfortable accessories and the greatest people involved in the making of this perfect piece of Ar. Plenty to do over console versions with graphic upgrades to beat considering the unreal 5 developing concepts, included witg multiple upgrades, Games, OS and multiplayer, but the virtual free roaming and interactive home secenes with moving furniture plus mirror to perfect my movemonts the quest can mirror without controllers, touchable menu. It keeps going. This is my choice honestly, i think this is the best purchase. You can even mirror your game on all your devices plus projectors. It could be an add on to a more quite retreat, I would comfort my own busy head, with it. Thanks Facebook, and Meta and Oculus. Sincerely, T

Bought this for my son for his 13th birthday (it was a big deal!) and he is absolutely in love with this! The whole family is actually, we’ve never had anything virtual before. I love how easy the setup is and how many game options he has. It’s so convenient, he can even do exercise with it. I would definitely recommend for the everyday gamer.

This meta quest is unbelievable! I was really impressed by the quality and the immersion in a whole world. It’s kind of hard in the beginning, you need to use it slowly to adapt, I’m still in the process of adapting but I don’t regret purchasing it! I highly recommend it

First time VR user, have to say it is WAY cool even for an old dude... i am still working on Iracing craft, the immersion is leaps and bounds above a 49 inch curved monitor but I seem to get tied up in others wrecks easier.. I can only think it is because of my inexperience with a true in seat view. Altogether you can see better in one aspect there ate trade offs.

I got this for a gift for my boyfriend and honestly it was amazing with the quality and price it was. We had our friends and family’s use it and they had a blast it so easy to get started I think any age would be able to use this device! Best purchase

Wonderful VR for my boys, not just a VR system but also educational. I even enjoy getting on it and getting some exercise in..Great product.

My son had a VR for years now and I finally got my own. I love this thing. It is so much fun, I am finally getting exercise in and having fun at the same time. I do not dread exercise now; I look forward to getting on the meta quest. I tell everyone I know how great these are and 3 of my friends have already gone and purchased their own.

This is a great purchase if it is your first VR experience. The headset is very uncomfortable, so you will likely have to buy a new headband (I went with a halo style headband and it is much more comfortable). Additionally, the battery life is poor, so it would be a good idea to buy a battery pack to use with the headset. I had an issue which caused an echo while I was talking to friends using airlink or the link cable. This issue only happened if I started a Quest call, and then opened airlink or used a link cable. Of course Meta support couldn't help me with this. My solution was to right click the speaker icon on the bottom right of your pc, click "Open Volume Mixer", and mute the sound coming from the application called "Oculus Virtual Runtime Service". Make sure that the output device is set to your Quest 2, or you will not see this application. Outside of that, I have had no issues with the Quest 2, and I have had a lot of fun using it. That being said, I was somewhat disappointed the first time I used it. The picture quality wasn't great while using standalone and it was a little blurry. The blur is due to my eyes being between IPD setting 1 and 2. If you have a high end computer that can run VR games, the picture quality massively improves. You will get used to the minor blur. After 2-3 weeks of nearly daily use (2-4 hours a day), I would recommend the Quest 2 to anybody who would like to experience VR for the first time. Be sure to find a game that you enjoy, or the VR experience will become boring quickly. With the release of the Quest 3 right around the corner, you may want to wait to see if you can get a discount on the Quest 2. Or, if you have the extra money, you may just want to purchase the Quest 3.
