Love it overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time VR user, have to say it is WAY cool even for an old dude... i am still working on Iracing craft, the immersion is leaps and bounds above a 49 inch curved monitor but I seem to get tied up in others wrecks easier.. I can only think it is because of my inexperience with a true in seat view. Altogether you can see better in one aspect there ate trade offs.

Great purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter who was asking for this all year as her Christmas gift. It’s even better than she expected it to be. I usually get motion sick from VR, but not with this. The graphics are so clear, it’s been a great buy so far.

Fun and healthy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great entertainment for the grandkids but also for me! Who knew a virtual reality game would help me tone my arms! Highly recommend. When I need to burn a few more calories to close the rings on my watch, I play Beat Saber. It works every time .

Surprisingly Pleased
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great system! I was pleasantly surprised to see how far we have come with VR. I was the guy waiting till the tech evolves and get better. I bought this because my father in law got one and my wife and I decided to as well. We have fun playing mini golf and horror games. Wish there were more titles but for what you get it is a load of fun. Just be weary of motion sickness and take your time getting used to it. Take breaks and if you feel sick stop playing immediately. Drinking ginger ale helps with the motion sickness some games give you. Not all games do.

Awesome gaming system!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much fun!!! This was a gift for my wife and she actually enjoyed traveling in and around cities with the use of one of the gaming softwares. I played Darth Vader and it is actually pretty good. The only thing is that I wear glasses and when I need to put it on and take the Oculus off I have to be delicate to avoid scratching it. Other than that it is pretty good.

Fun and Interactive headset
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase the Meta for my son for Christmas and he loves it as it has lots of games and things you can do within the headset. Pros: Lots of Fun & interactive Games in the appstore Adjustable lens for eye placement Joy sticks are sturdy and feel comfortable in your hands Cons: Short battery life Headset is kinda heavy and not really made for anyone under 10 Dealing with oculus and/or facebook for creating accounts can be a pain

The best headset for the price, but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I want to say I highly recommend you get this, especially as an entry level headset if you're new to the world of VR. The Oculus app for PC allows for easy and fast connection which is how I use the headset, however standalone is also a great experience as well, though not as graphically impressive due to the hardware limitations. This is actually my second headset, the first headset I purchased had controller stick issues a week into purchasing it, however I was very easily able to bring it into the store and have the entire thing exchanged for a new one, which I haven't had any issues with at the time of writing this review. Pros: - Incredibly durable - Extremely affordable for entry level VR - Constant support from Face... er... Meta - Easy exchange if something goes wrong within the warranty period - Great selection of games, even in standalone - Easy PC connection Cons: - Needing to set up a Meta account before use can be tedious and unnecessary - Better options out there for enthusiasts - Trying to connect full body tracking is a pain with this headset - Stock strap is incredibly uncomfortable and limits long play sessions to an hour at best before giving headaches Overall, I do recommend getting this headset, especially if you're new to VR or don't yet have a PC. Though if you purchase it and like it, I would definitely say get the pro strap as it is much more comfortable and allows for longer play sessions.

I'm loving it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading so many FB comments *I barely go on FB* I convinced myself I would never be able to figure out how to get it to work when it arrives. Doom, Gloom and a lot of Zoom - if I couldn't figure this out by myself I was out a lot of money! By the way, has anyone else notice the huge price comarison of the Quest? Anywhere from $299 - $699 for the same Oculus Quest 2? Anyway, jus sayin... Today - It finally arrived and boy was I terrified opening the box. I stared, should I send it back - can I do this... well, a long time later I did it, I tore the plastic and out came my Oculus Quest 2 with two cool controllers. Within 15 minutes I was hooked up to WiFi, FB and playing tennis. I got tired and did meditation for 10 minutes just floating in space. The realty is - its plain awesome! It looked so real that I found myself suddenly afraid of heights! Then it was time to charge the quest - which took around 2 hours. Yes, it was that easy!!! I love it! So, lesson to everyone - if I can do it all by MYSELF you can too - because you are awesome! Especially if you reading my review. Thanks! A quick note: You have the option to move the eye piece to make you vision clearer. The eye piece does not rotate. You must take your thumbs and slide right or left.

Absolutely love this
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is fantastic! We have been having a blast playing on it! Games are sold separately, but many of them are free to play if you don’t want to purchase anything. The headset dies in 2-3 hours so I would recommend a long charging cord to go with it. If you’re sitting down you can get motion sick, so standing up helps or take frequent breaks.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow just Wow, I never though the virtual reallity will be this good. I enjoy watching Youtube VR and netflix. Totally worth the price. Got the 128gb and its plenty of space for not a every day play. If you hardcore player must get the 256gb. Amazing device but can improve a bit on the weight.

Nice setup but not good for motion sickness
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Oculus is fun but I get motion sickness very easily and did not realize that playing this causes motion sickness episodes. I can only play for 10-15 mins at a time. Someone online recommended taking Dramamine to help with the nausea. Also the headset takes a minute to get use too on your face.

Quest 2 Is A Winner!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At this price point, the Oculus Quest 2 is a no brainer when it comes to overall quality and VR experience. I bought this primarily to use with RealFlight 8 software on a PC and it works great with no setup issues at all. To connect to the computer, I’m using the Insignia™ - 16.4' USB-C Virtual Reality Headset Cable which is BestBuy’s less expensive version of the Oculus branded cable. Download and run the Oculus app and you are good to go. I had no issues whatsoever. Using the Quest 2 as a stand alone VR headset (not connected to a computer) is absolutely amazing. Being immersed in a game is an experience way beyond playing a game on a flat screen. You can even watch movies on popular apps like Netflix and Prime while “sitting” in beautiful virtual theater rooms. Pretty cool. I’m also impressed with the built in sound and I should mention, the microphone quality is amazing when communicating in virtual rooms. I love this thing!

Spectacular
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The experience is awesome, ecspecailly if you're new to VR. The headset strap that comes with is Very uncomfortable over time, so I would highly recommend getting the strap that tightens around the back of the head, so the weight of the device is not so heavy on the face. If you can afford it, I would instead advise getting the strap that has the battery pack attached to it instead of just the strap (The added battery gives an additional 2-3 hours of gameplay, and without it you have about 1-2 hours.)Most games and apps take 1-3gb and at the most up to 4 or 5gb that I've found so far, so I've downloaded alot of them and still have more than half of the 128 gb space left. I also would highly recommend getting the Warranty on it; when you are playing it, it is very easy to bump/slam/punch/smash into things because you can see nothing but the game. One more added thing I would suggest is a LONG Type C (both ends) cord to charge the headset, yet still be able to play while doing so.
