Fun VR for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For 300 is is good buy, and during this semiconductor inflation times definitely fund device. The set up is easy and the user expertise is not bad. I get the best results with overhead light. With natural sunlight sometimes the room barriers are way of. Probably due to the uneven light distribution. The screen can be more sharper but i cannot complaint too much given the 300 dollars price tag.

Fun But I'd wait for them to redesign.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is definitely fun but also alot of getting used to. If you get seasick or get car sick easily then you wont last long. The headgear is also kinda heavy so I had to make it tight on my face and after a few mins your eye sockets sore. Once you take it off you have rings around your face. I'd be careful with young people as after a while you may be left with damage under your eyes.

Light, Breathable, Best Value, but Buggy...
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone knows the cons and pros of these by now, so I'll keep this brief. I don't remember what exactly the issue was, but I remember that it was big enough for me to end up returning it after three days of ownership and numerous hours spent crawling forums, and reddit and reading complaints of people having the exact same issue as myself. To quote what I told the CSR when I returned it and they asked "what the reason for return was?" My response: "It has an issue where occasionally upon bootup it decides to fail to recognize that it's in a safety zone, and you have to create a new one, then it has issues pairing with the controllers as well, and detecting that it's on your head despite having clean sensors, and cameras and being meticulously maintained. This issue has existed since launch, and it has yet to be resolved. That's unacceptable, imho as a programmer." Sure, it's a better value than the constantly breaking index, and has better resolution than the vive, as well as more portability, but that's all for naught if you can't actually USE it...

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a Christmas present for my kid, I wish that I didn’t have to create a Facebook/Meta account. Also wish it would be easier to “link” accounts. But whatever he likes it, that’s all that matters I guess.

Good VR System
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our VR. Of course the newer model has some major improvements but this has treated us well. It can be touchy with finding just the right spot for clarity.

Quest 2 Holds Up
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A year later I still think this VR headset is solid. Reliable and a lot of fun. Visually not as crisp as I’d originally hoped for especially with pixels getting higher and sharper these days. Still super entertaining and fun to bring out at parties!

Not that much of an upgrade over Rift CV1
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive owned a Rift CV1 since the beginning and purchased the Quest 2 thinking the expeirence would be a lot better but the cons definitely outweighed the pros leading to me returning this and continuing with my Rift. Cons: Battery Life, Connecting to a PC. Pros: Wireless (kind of), visual clarity, accessories. With the battery life being so short it really needs to stay plugged in all the time when multiple people want to play, which then does not make this wireless. Also, even with PC connectivity eing wired the connection wouldnt start up seemlessly every time and would be glitchy which isnt something i experience with the Rift. Even though the Rift needs sensors and has a wire, the experience in my opinion is better because it does have those hiccups.
