This vr headset is amazing for the price. I have a powerful pc and can wirelessly stream Steam vr games to the Quest 2 with basically zero lag and at 120 hz. Controllers are comfortable in the hand and track great. Some games, you don't even need the controllers, you just use your hands.

I never played much VR till I got my oculus but it was worth it. You can play for a good few hours before recharging which is nice so you don’t get VR sickness. They feel comfortable for the most part but I recommend getting a new head strap and battery pack so it’s more relaxing and can play longer if you like to. Most games look beautiful but others look blocky at times. As for any fellow glasses owners, you have to have your glasses on to play sadly. I thought I could finally enjoy something I could see clearly without glasses but I was wrong. Keep in mind with glasses that if they’re to big they won’t fit into the oculus making it pointless so hopefully you have a small pair or contacts.

This was the highlight of my son's Christmas. Easy to use and an unreal experience. It's amazing how far technology has come over the last 20 years.

Amazing VR experience for around $299. Only real complaint about this device is the battery life. The battery life is only around 2 Hours and then have to charge it again. Other than that amazing VR and plenty of games for all of genres (ie FPS, adventure, puzzle, sports, etc)

I haven’t been a gamer in years. I thought this would be fun but wasn’t going to waste my time and money on it. I played a friends and it blew me away. I had to buy one of my own and can get a good sweat while playing so I don’t feel like it is a complete waste of time.

Very good product. This was my first time getting into vr and I love it. Easy to use and endless things to get into from gaming, watching movies, or even exercising. The family and I all love it and I would recommend.

the headset was amazing for the price. i have played vr games before using a htc vive when it first came out and playstation vr but it just didnt click with me since i had to keep those plugged in and have sensors to make it work but with this i didnt need any of that. the headset fit very comfortable and i felt the gaming experience on it was worth it. the only issue i had with the headset was the battery life that can be extended to double if you buy the battery pack strap all in all would say buy the headset if you want a great entry into vr

it's a really good standalone vr if you don't have a pc. if you do have a pc that can handle vr you can connect this headset to it through a link cable or your wifi. runs games really well and virtually no lag when connected to your pc over a wireless connection.

This thing is amazing! If you've never tried VR before then this is the perfect package to get you started. It has lots of free games that can get you started. The 128gb is more than enough for the average user. I love the guardian setup, its very useful, Although I wish you cold turn it off completely sometimes. I have to say that a couples times I have been playing BeatSaber and while in the menus it will go black, like it went to sleep. After trying to turn it on it will show the logo but go black again, like its in a boot loop. I've had to hold the power button for like 15 seconds for it to completely restart. Not sure if its a software issue or the game, but it hasn't happened since. The battery life lasts me about 2.5 hours playing BeatSaber and the controllers will last about a month. The tracking is also pretty good, the lighting has to be right though. Overall, very cool headset to have I'm very pleased!

The Oculus Quest was a unique headset when it first launched, with integrated VR experiences, no wires needed. Consumers were then surprised with the Quest 2 and its second 128GB launch. This current release while disorienting customers with its constant releases is a worthy and capable VR unit for your money. With its low cost of entry and higher-end specifications, this unit can do everything from play integrated games (sold separately) like Beat Saber, to stream or connect to a home PC for playing games such as Half-Life Alyx. Being able to have a quality VR experience without wires is a revelatory experience of which can only get better. Though for the foreseeable future, I can't see recommending any other VR headset than the Oculus Quest 2. And that is with owning a PSVR headset as well. The fluidity, resolution, and customization options of the headset make for a great experience all around.

This is the best standalone headset on the market right now (jan 2022. The resolution is one of the highest on the market right now, and with the experimental 120hz refresh rate, the visual quality is very good. The controllers are alright, however the thumb tracking could use some work, and without using a controller cover, they are an absolute sweat and grease magnet. The headset can also be linked to your pc with a link cable, although I would not recommend the official oculus cable; it is overpriced and is not a noticeable enough improvement to be worth it for me. Pcvr works great, however the battery can still drain while using it, unless you have enough power going to your usb port, and if you don't have a usb 3.0 or 3.1 cable, battery while in pcvr might be an issue.
The headset does have a few downsides, like the uncomfortable strap that it comes with out of the box. If you plan to play for more than an hour or two, I would definitely upgrade. The facial interface is also not the best, because it absorbs sweat like a sponge. The included silicone cover works okay, but I would definitely recommend upgrading. One of the biggest drawbacks of the Quest 2 is that there are only three IPD (Inter-pupillary distance) settings. If your IPD is one of these settings (58mm, 63mm, or 68mm), than this won't be an issue for you. If your eyes don't fall at or near one of these settings, you might have some issues with clarity.
Overall, this is a very good headset for the price, and definitely recommended.

There are so many amazing things you can do and you really do feal immersed in the experience. The only downside for me personally is ths battery life but im aware that even the 3 and pro suffer from this so I would recommend adding an external battery for longer use.

The first VR headset I have owned was PlaystationVR. The Oculus Quest blows the PlayStationVR away! Amazing quality, ease of use and love the growing selection of games and apps. The only thing I would highly suggest is the extra battery and head-strap upgrade.

No high expectations for this item. We just hoped for it to meet its value for the very reasonable price. It succeeded!
For a basic value headset this little baby fit the bill. Didn't expect to be transported to the Holodeck or plucked from my body to explore the greater expanses of the Universe, but it's fun and enjoyable for a starting entry into the VR world.
Very happy to have ordered the strap with battery. It's made the experience much better than it would be without. The cord, which was quickly found by a conscientious associate in the store, was a useful addition.
THANKS for a positive entry level experience to this technology.

My son is much younger than the " suggested" age, but he is very easily bored and actually requires more challenging mental stimulation to keep from getting into mischief. I wanted to add more physical movement to his gaming, since its not like the 'go outside and play' era since no other kids are outside. It lets him still interact with actual people and burn off energy he had been having more mood swings from the lack of movement, I noticed a huge difference from. I love watching him move and get a kick out of how much he truly has mastered some of the games. I am getting his controllers and the entire thing fixed and in wirking order. He had NO ISSUES until one controller stopped holding any charge at all after about 7 months of hard core use. If it can last with him, its truly remarkable. The games are affordable in comparison to the newest console that he also has. He has consistently used this over the PS model of VR. This is the future of more than gaming, its totally mind blowing and truly requires some skill and I can see myself becoming a fan or user myself if I can pry it from his head! It dies require arm room and it was a real battle when he had only tge living room as a space to use it...the punches we often were jabbed with, the heads up we are passing.. and dodging was definitely memorable..if not nuisance to his great grandmother. Funny thing is since its been in need if repair, she has been asking to get it fixed fir him because of the huge difference in how much his mood was improved with the use. You do require a facebook account, but that is because of the digital gaming aspect and I imagine to keep your purchases and other info for the right purposes. No different than any type of product with cloud capabilities. This is totally freestanding and you dont have to stand in front of a console or a camera to use it. There are no physical games, its all virtual. This will wear you out, and its limits are yet to be seen.
