This much tech working this well at an entry point this low is a rare thing. It’s nice that you can connect it to your pc and use your pc graphics card power to spit out better visuals too. I don’t like the facebook requirement, and the store needs quick demos. Other than that, fun toy!

Bought as a gift for my niece and nephew. Needless to say, everyone enjoyed playing the VR.

Best technology entertainment device, This is best value electronic entertainment in market. Facebook has advantages in market share, it needs more content in future.

Great all in one headset, a little uncomfortable right out of the box but the elite head strap makes it a lot better. Controller battery life is also awesome, and the removal of having to connect to Facebook is a plus.

I have the first generation VR, like the fact that there are no cords for this one. So far its been reliable and fun

Sure, you COULD pay over a thousand dollars for a competing VR system, that has the same graphics quality, and half the features, and REQUIRES a very expensive PC to run... You COULD buy VR equipment from a non-VR company, whose only experience in the industry is copying Oculus' technology and overcharging people for a series of second-rate knockoffs that they abandon immediately after launch, and sell on the promise of exclusive VR games they never deliver... You COULD get huge, bulky motion controls that look like YuGiOh duel disks and have to be strapped onto your arm to use, instead of the light and intuitive Oculus Touch controllers... You COULD get a VR system that uses a 7+ year-old tracking system, that relies on outlet-hogging, unreliable external sensors instead of Oculus' innovative, convenient, and infinitely adaptable inside-out tracking system... You COULD buy your VR games from an old, non-VR PC game platform, and face an endless abyss of half-finished garbageware with no minimum quality standards or AAA VR games, instead of buying GOOD VR content from Oculus' well-curated, VR-specific platform... But why would you do any of that, when you could get the best mobile AND PC-compatible VR system on the market, with the best controllers, tracking, and content, for a fraction of the cost? Do VR right, get a Quest 2.
