Great to play but stopped charging.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy did a great job of making it right. I bought this for the grandkids for Christmas and in 3 months it stopped charging for no reason. Because I bought it at Best Buy and have their yearly subscription they gave me a brand new one. So hoping this one is better but just holding my breath. The system is awesome, gets them on their feet instead of jumped over a console. They get wore out on the boxing game for sure! Will review again if charging messes up again but all in all it is great for playing.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was definitely one of the best decisions we have ever made buying a present for our kids. It only has a 2 hour battery life so you know they will not be using it for hours on end. It does charge fairly quickly so if other kids are over after the 2 hours you can charge it quickly for use again. The only downside is there is not many free games. It’s nice for some of the games they allow you to try the demo version. A plus side on having to buy games is a lot of them are under $15. We have definitely gotten our use out of the oculus it was worth every penny.

Great Introduction to VR Headsets
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would really recommend this headset for those getting into VR. Everything you need to get started is included. The headset is pretty comfortable and the Quest store has a good collection of games. The main downside is that the headset is technically wireless, so it will need to be charged after a few hours, which prevents long periods of use. However, you are able to purchase a longer cable that will allow you to use it while charging. Depending on your budget, you may also need to consider the price of games in addition to the headset.

A whole new world.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unbelievable experience. Really entertaining. This is a look into what the future will be, in my opinion. The technology involved in this is fascinating and remarkable. Our 7 year old really enjoys it. And some of the games could actually constitute exercise! Lol. It is an expensive endeavor though. In addition to the cost of the unit itself, nearly all of the games cost money to buy or to play beyond a limited demo. It does take some tech know-how to set up too…and adjustment time to use. Overall, I would say dive in if you have the means.

REAL first-person experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first use of a Meta/Oculus device. I'm amazed. First person shooters are true first person. Some of the less expensive and simpler experiences are the best. Try walking the plank or flying around to capture missiles like Ironman. I've had limited experience watching Netflix but found the tightness of the headset annoying for that long of a period. Get yourself an extended battery and grippy covers for the controllers and you're in great shape.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im really happy that I decided to get this for my 6 year old gamer. Inwas worried that I would need a pc, and other addictions. But all you do is download an app for purchasing games (many free ones). Ive even been playing some Resident Evil on it while he's in school! The best thing about my purchase is, its covered by Geek Squad! Which means if my son breaks something, there are no worries!

VR is amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can whole heartedly say that this Vr is the one to buy. It’s cheaper than most of the other vr’s on the market and its quality isn’t something to look over. I know we got the new quest 3 out now but this is just as good in my opinion. If you have been contemplating getting a vr then I’m here to let you know…todays the day. You should get one right now.

Quest 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve spent the last couple of weeks with Oculus’ new Quest 2 headset, though, and that’s very close to changing. The Quest 2 is a self-contained headset that’s shipping on October 13th, and it’s an update to Oculus’ 2019 Quest. Oculus has kept that standalone Quest design with the same feature set, while improving its screen, reducing its weight, and — with one noteworthy caveat — making it more comfortable. It’s also dropped the starting price from $399 to $299, making the Quest 2 one of the lowest-priced headsets on the market.

Daughter loves it
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my tech enthusiast daughter and she loves this. It was not something I could get used to and I have used other vr headsets and lens items before. She likes it, it fits well, has some decent free apps, good games, and she is able watch wide format tv shows without disturbing anyone else. She also doesnt have the issue i have with my astigmatism, and the lenses adjust enough to accomodate her nearsightedness without wearing glasses or contacts.
