  • Quest 2 VS Rift-S

    I like the new Quest 2. I still feel like the Rift-S was a better product, but I like the fact I no longer have cords to deal with. Also, I like that the games are saved in the headset rather than the computer. I'm not happy that the games I purchased for my Rift-S are not transferred to the Quest 2. Some of the games I'm told do transfer, but you have to jump through some hoops to make that happen, and not all your games transfer, but just some of them. I feel if you paid for games on the Oculus Rift, then those games should be automatically transferred to the Oculus Quest 2. In addition, the Rift-S had a far superior home base. You could add and build your home base to be a perfect meditation space for your peace and comfort. The new Quest 2 has nothing like that. You can change your home base, but you are limited to where you can move around, and your limited to what you can add to your home space. You can go back to your Rift-S space and games using the Air connect, or by using virtual desktop streamer, but you shouldn't have to. It almost feels like they rushed this product to get it on the market, rather than actually taking the time to build an upgraded newer, better product.

    Great gaming console! My son is 12 and loves it. It’s a little difficult to set up but we figured it out!! Love it! Keeps him very occupied.
