What a cool experience!! Free games are fun and get you into the VR world!! They run great package specials all the time. If the game you want isn’t on sale wait a week! Great new deals weekly!! I will say it takes a little time to get used to the interface and it took some coaching to get my 10year old comfortable, but now I have to fight to play on it!! Be patient in the beginning, it just takes sim time to get used to it all.

It’s honestly pretty fun to play with especially with friends the things that I don’t really like is the head strap and how the battery last a couple hours but I rate this a 4 out of 5.

I liked the improvement from a rift V1. Great framerates, Only issue is the battery and the black and white passthrough, if you want color passthrough, go to the quest 3. Hand tracking is great for the price, but quest 3 hand tracking is better.

I told the wife I bought this as exercise equipment for myself. She didn’t believe me and lectured me on how I didn’t need another video game system, until she tried the exercise game supernatural. Now she wants to go get herself one. This thing is amazing. You get totally immersed in another world. Highly recommend this if you have the space to let loose.

Believe it or not our four year old loves this- Great to start them young and very easy to pickup. Suggest placing a carpet to stay within the borders, but other than that it dors a good job on its own, we have voice disabled and can monitor his experience easily!

The Meta Quest (formerly Oculus Quest 2) is a fantastic VR headset for anyone or any level of experience with VR. It's completely portable and the battery life you get with it is great for playing games or running any app you'd like on your headset. There's a vast amount of choices out there for them as well so you'll never be bored or out of options. The tracking works great, at least compared to the PSVR which was my first VR headset. As long as the headset's cameras can detect your controllers then your arms in game will follow your physical ones near perfectly. All in all I feel like the Meta Quest 2 is much worth the investment if you or a friend is looking to get into VR. It's cheaper than a PS5 and you're more likely to make a lot more memories and connections in VR than on a flat screen.

By far the best value in VR today, hands down. The fact that it works both standalone and tethered with a PC really makes it the best of both worlds... Unfortunately I don't have a lot of good to say about VR in general. Issues specific to this device design: * It lacks focal adjustment, and the virtual focal distance is far enough away as to require corrective lenses for us near-sighted while using... * Unless you have a tiny head with thin frames, your glasses will not fit - with or without the extension. * Using without glasses isn't terrible, but not great * Peripheral vision is blurry even with the lens separation properly adjusted. * The head strap is also intended for people with tiny heads, and it doesn't do a very good job keeping the headset aligned with your eyes * Head tracking performance degrades quickly if conditions are less than ideal (lower lighting, room isn't super clean) * Playing VR is not and cannot be a social activity. It is inherently isolating, and not safe to use around other people unless you can trust them implicitly. The temptation to mess with a blindfolded person is too pervasive. The Oculus Software / experience: * Does not work well at all your feet aren't on the ground (recliner, bed for example) * Basic accessibility features are lacking - what if your legs are paralyzed? What if you have balance issues and cannot stand with your eyes covered? What if you are missing an arm? What if you have tremors / neuropathy? Good luck typing lol * You must show it where the floor is, and if you are seated your head hight will be wrong. An experimental option bumps up your head height... But there really needs to be a more basic "I cannot stand up with this thing on because of a disability" * You cannot reset your view with respect to the ground. If you are in a reclined position it is nearly impossible to look at or reach thing on the ground. * The only option for left-handed folks moves the oculus button, but the switch isn't honored by all apps * Games are WAY too expensive. Don't believe the hype - VR isn't significantly harder to develop for that any other 3D. The excessive pricing is because of the "rich nerd" assumption and greed. Prices NEED to come down if they want people to embrace VR. VR doesn't stand up to marathon gaming - these games are going to be mostly on the casual / small bites side of things.

I absolutely adore this headset. The graphics are amazing, the interface is amazing, and I haven't been able to get enough of using it! It's fun for all age groups too, because my nieces and nephews, as well as parents and grandparents love the experience.

Well while you have the PS5, XBOX SERIES X, and a NINTENDO SWITCH OLED running the game here you have an oculus quest 2 which I would say is highly underrated right now in the gaming community. You not only get to move around and make use of VR without needing a PC you get to have fun and enjoy gaming in a new way. I will say the need for a Facebook account is a downside of the oculus that that I wish would change but probably won’t

One of a kind experience at a much lower cost than the similar alternatives. I would recommend this product to anyone that enjoys gaming, is looking for a way to get some light exercise at home and in a fun way, or is just interested in experiencing something new.

This headset is so fun. I brought it for my son but would sneak and play when he was out. The only thing is it should not be played in small rooms. My son ruined his controllers and my walls playing

Honestly a very very fun experience! If you play games that are standing still or move your feet when you move you wont feel motions sickness at all and the experience is unreal. If you have to use a joystick to move you may feel motions sickness depending on your level of tolerance
