Great VR experience!

I finally decided to get the Oculus Quest 2 and I can say, VR has gone a Loooong way! It was way better than expected! Battery lasts about 2 hours (about 70 if you are casting video to a TV), being a stand alone that needs no cables makes the experience much better. I even had my wife play and enjoy playing even when she usually doesn't like videogames. The downside, original accessories are expensive, the game selection is still limited, and you are forced to use a Facebook account.

Quest 2 - Not bad, I wish there was a pro version

It feels a bit cheaper, because it is a bit cheaper. It is still a great intro into VR and it has higher resolution and framerates than the original. Not going to find something better at this price point and since they no longer make the controllers for the original it is hard to recommend that one instead.

Amazing VR Headset

There could be more games. I do not like how you have to have a FB acct to use it. Games cost about $30. They have an upgrade headset you can buy for $50. I had to purchase it bc the one it came with kept Sliding off my sons head. It also does not come with a holder for when its not in use. Add another $40-$50 for that. I had to rearrange a few things in my middle room. They can hurt themselves by walking into walls, falling, or anything around them. After about 2 weeks my son played what he could in his age group. And it sits on a shelf now.

But… I’m upset because one of the only reasons I spent over $300 was to receive a $50 e gift card for Best Buy and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING =( it’s been a week! And today’s Black Friday and I would of loved to use it today. Very disappointed. Hopefully it still sent to me eventually to redeem!!!!!

There are some free games out there that are worth it...just have to look. The love watching others play.

Glad for the perimeter settings so you don’t crash into the tv. What I hate is that a Facebook account is required for use, which proceeds to track every inch of your life. Let us live and enjoy some tech without constant tracking! Unnecessary requirement.
