I use it for exercise every day. First one started glitching and stopping my workout half way though requiring a softer hard reset which is not great exercise. I don’t want to wait 3 months for a repair so I bought this second one. Started shutting down in the middle of a work out after 6 weeks. It’s not a user issue I’ve tried very form of resetting it and it’s always powered fully when I start. There’s no return and it is a terrible purchase if you rely on it for your exercise, it’s so frustrating to spend that time resetting the goggles. Back tkk on the gym I guess.

A bit overrated

The resolution is better, but the 'sweet spot' is tiny for your viewing area. The main advantages of this unit, is of course, no computer, the lack of a cable, and no placing of sensors. Those are definitely desirable, yet I like the Rift 1 better from a comfort, sound, performance, and detail of surroundings perspective. The Quest 2 is fine for convenience, but I'd look elsewhere for fit/finish and performance.

The on and play is a plus but the lack of apps is also a big draw back haven’t tried air play yet but not having access to steam library is a big drawback

We bought one for the kids for Christmas and I think my wife and I play it more than they do. Although owned by Facebook (Meta), it’s only downside is the necessary requirement to connect through a personal Facebook account. I personally do not have a Facebook account. It will not allow you to have a “family” account.
