super disappointing to get a defective device- trying tech support for 4 hours so far and hearing it will likely take days to get a device that works- but I won’t know that for a few more hours- hoping can update review later with a working device but it has been painful so far

My 11yr old son was so excited to get the Oculus 2 but immediately had issues with headaches and nausea. We tried all suggestions to remedy the issue but to no prevail. He was extremely disappointed. He literally could not use it after just 3 days. Definitely would not recommend

Purchased Meta Quest 2 from Victory Lakes Best Buy then 23 days later it will not charge. Had 14 day best buy warranty. No help from Best Buy to help with my problem. Very poor quality product, strongly urge not to buy. I will be taking my business elswhere.

I've went through 2 of these units now because the controllers break.... beware, they're built cheap both controllers were treated fine, and have one owner. Replacements would be close to $200.... even though they're very cheap quality. No

Didnt even last 3 weeks. My daughter played with it like 4 times and didnt play with it for 1week and when she did it had spots. I couldn't exchange it because it had been more than 15 days. Very unsatisfied. 400 plus $$$ down the drain.

Meta Quest 2: Immersive Fun Hampered by Controller

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Meta Quest 2 offers an immersive and highly enjoyable VR experience, making it a standout choice for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike. Its impressive graphics, extensive game library, and standalone capability without the need for a PC or console are some of its major selling points. The headset is comfortable to wear, and the setup is relatively straightforward, allowing you to dive into virtual worlds quickly. However, a significant downside is the issue of stick drift on both controllers. Over time, this problem becomes quite noticeable, affecting gameplay precision and overall enjoyment. While the fun factor of the Meta Quest 2 is undeniable, the persistent stick drift issue detracts from what could otherwise be a near-perfect VR system. If you're considering purchasing, keep in mind that you might need to seek out solutions or replacements for the controllers sooner than anticipated.

A New Way To Play and Explore

My wife told me about an experience she had at work where she had an opportunity to check out VR for the first time. Needless to say, this quickly became a purchase for Xmas, lol. My first experience was Xmas morning after my wife opened up this gift and connected it to an account. WOW!!! This is a really neat experience. Adjusting to the reality within can be enough to make you a bit dizzy so be aware of that. What you do and what you experience will be different for everyone. Beat Saber is an AWESOME experience I recommend and quite a workout too! I feel VR is still very early in its development but from my time with this Quest 2, I cant wait to see where we go next.

    Best stand alone headset out

I can say because ive had my quest 2 for about 2 years. And its been so good to me. Even though a lot of the games are very pricey. Its worth it for sone of the more mainstream games. If you want any recommendations I would say Pavlov Shack, Beat Saber, bonelab, and Ghosts of Tabor. Everything is so good looking. And if you use the USB it comes with. Than you have even more games. Like QuestCraft (Minecraft VR). And it can all be installed through a software called “Sidequest” anyways it also means you cab mod sny open source game. Including, you guessed it Beat Saber. All you have to do is install BMBF, on Sidequest and load it onto your quest and open it. And it walks you through it. And there is plenty more guides dont listen to a Best Buy Review.

    Great VR headset

Great VR headset! I bought the Quest 3 and returned it the following day because it made my eyes hurt and I wasnt happy with the new lenses. Im happy with the Quest 2! Yes it gets blurry but compared to the quest 3 i liked the quest 2 because it feels more 3Dish and fun. looking at things VR is cool. Quest 3 just felt like you were looking at a screen. Im happy with the quest 2, Im taking good care of mine hoping it lasts because i really do enjoy it. From watching movies/ being in apps, looking at nature VR its so much fun and relaxing. Happy customer here!

My daughter aboslutely LOVES her Quest2! She was blown away because she didn't think she would get it for Christmas and now has been doing everything from chatting with her friends in the games, to even doing fitness programs! It's really such a neat device! I was against VR for so long, but I'm glad we made the decision to get it for her, it's just me and her so we get to share it back and forth but its entertaining watching her through the casting feature!
