The Meta Quest 2 was perfect for me. The next step up was a lot more expensive. It works great, is loads of fun and good workout.

Would be 5 stars but for 2 things: - no parental controls - controllers too big for many women & kids Other than those things it really is amazing that this is an all in one portable device. Graphics are great, sound is good & surprisingly there are many games to chose from. That fact that the Oculus can be connected to a PC that supports VR is a huge plus as well. $300 or less for this device is a steal.

It is the best vr headset you can get if you do not have a good pc. It had quite a collection of games and has good finger tracking. Though the downside is that it is quite front heavy. If you don’t mind it than go for it. However, long use makes your head hurt due to the front being heavy.

Wasn't sure about getting system till a friend got one. Tried it and loved it. Not being tethered to a PC helped in immersion. For those games that require a PC you can get inexpensive cables to hook up. Played Elite:Dangerous on it and it was fantastic.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. He shares it with his siblings. My kids love this. They really have fun with the device. Seeing them stream their gaming with this with their friends or casting it to the TV is really awesome. Motion Sickness is the a drawback for these things. Also, it doesn't feel that sturdy.

The Meta Quest 2 VR headset has taken my virtual reality experience to new heights, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! This cutting-edge device offers an unparalleled gateway to boundless virtual realms, delivering an immersive and captivating experience like never before. First and foremost, the Meta Quest 2’s display is remarkable. With its high-resolution and fast-switching LCD panels, the visuals are incredibly sharp, vibrant, and free from the screen door effect. Whether I’m exploring far-off worlds, engaging in intense VR gaming, or watching immersive 360-degree videos, the headset’s visuals are jaw-droppingly impressive.

bought it as a christmas gift for my boyfriend but he’s been loving it so far! He has not put it down for two weeks. I will say the battery runs out fast it last about 1-2hrs of playtime so he constantly has to stop and charge it. Besides that we both enjoy it

I was on the fence about this for a very long time. Very glad that I decided to go out and get it. The application of an oculus goes beyond gaming-- you can use it for studying, working, watching netflix and much more. VR is definitely the future.

Given the rough time we have had with Covid, the Oculus has helped me stay mentally sane during this uncertain time. Ive used it for Meditations, playing BlackJack, taken trips across the world. It really does take you away from reality and helps you stay positive.

So this is a fun but a couple of things to know. First, the battery does not last as long as we thought. Second the face piece makes our faces super red (and one of my kids breaks out in a rash). Third, doesn’t do much without a Facebook account, which we didn’t really want. But the device is a lot of fun.

Best option for vr without an expensive pc. And if you get the pc it's still a better quality experience than most other vr options. Just make sure you get an upgraded face pad

The Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 is a great introductory headset to the world of VR gaming, and supports wireless gameplay by itself, or connected to a PC via SteamVR. A Facebook account is required though, and is generally not recommended for kids below 13 years of age. Battery life is about 2 hours of gameplay, so either a long, external USB cable is needed for charging OR an external battery is recommended.

For my son and he loves it Games, connectivity, all of what he's always wanted (he's been asking for a VR set for a long time) Could not get it to work with the PC after purchasing the extra cord - I think that's more on my computer's end than the Oculus' fault.
