Wow, I've owned every major video game console since the original NES, recently buying the new XBOX. I was not drawn to VR at all, though it intrigued me somewhat. So, to have my wife buy me the Oculus Quest 2 for my birthday/Christmas I was a bit surprised because it simply wasnt on my "must own" radar for tech items. We picked it up at a local Best Buy that happened to have it returned and got home, opened the box, turned it on, connected to wifi and the rest is history. I always assumed VR headsets were dependent on having a PC but this thing is 100% standalone/independent of needing a PC which I love. The device has tons of demos that show off the capabilities and that make it fun to figure out what kind of games/experiences you are looking for. We spent a ton of money day 1 buying about 10 games like Star Wars VADER and Beat Saber, which are a-mazing. Again, cannot put into words how cool this is except to say that it was not something I had planned to buy and so glad we ended up getting one. The fact that it is completely standalone with about a 3hr battery life is incredible. Graphics and audio are legit, and the games/experiences feel real, feel fleshed out, and feel deep not gimmicky like I expected. I do not expect this to replace my XBOX or Nintendo Switch because the experiences are simply different and have different intents, but it is every bit as good in its own way that both the Switch and XBOX are really good. Also, I'd recommend buying a Google Chromecast to hook up to your TV. This put the Oculus over the edge in my opinion because simply by switching to HDMI 3 everyone in the room could share the experience seeing and hearing what was happening to whoever was wearing the Oculus. Chromecast is about 30 dollars, so totally worth it and really should be included with the Oculus Quest 2 so that it doesnt feel so singular of an experience

Was debating waiting for the Quest 3 for my son, but he is absolutely loving it. Still a great option for the price.

This is a great entry level headset. Its comfortable, light weight, good picture quality and it has all the fixins

Awesome I love it, the Quest 3 is available but this is still a very capable machine, and is very fun!

Best Christmas present for my wife. You want to make the wife happy, buy her the Oculus Quest 2. My wife has already subscribed to Supernatural fitness website and bought saber beats game. She has been using oculus quest 2 since Christmas Eve and plays it until the battery runs out. I have tried it once and love the VR experience. The Saber Beat game is fantastic. Since I may never get to use her Quest 2 ever again, I will buy one for me when it comes available again.

I get motion sick pretty easily. I got this for my son but have tried it out a few times. I have yet to get sick.

My son loves it def gets him moving around and sweating lol

 So I’d say that this is great as far as the VR experience, but the battery life is not great and the straps do feel a bit heavy on your head. I have transitioned this headset into PC VR.

This was a great buy good price and simple to hook up I would recommend this item to anyone who likes gaming.

Seems to be great for my daughter. It made her arms sore for a couple days playing a game.

One of the best devices my family has ever you used Help my daughter with her studies Just from the apps, the things she can. Experience The works you put in and the simulations are great. All around, I have to say the oculus. Boost my children's Academically. I have recommended it to a few of my family. Members who enjoy it. My family Which has a lot of military members can talk and play with each other all around the world.

Love it we all play in the house even my wife she love to play with the kids

I was finally able to give it to my family for Christmas and it was a big hit everyone loved it I even love it I definitely recommend

My kids love this game and always moving now w it they fight over time w oculus and I had to get a 2nd one
