We were looking before the Christmas holiday and all of the retailers were jacking the prices up. I looked one last time at Bestbuy and found what I was looking for at s fair price. My grandson was able to open his Christmas present on time and grandma didn't get taken to the cleaners!!! Thank you Bestbuy for being fair and honest...and fast!!!

Got 2 of these for Christmas. For my girlfriend and I. We are having a lot of fun with them. Just be aware that games with a lot of motion in head set but can be played sitting down, may cause nausea. We love games that require you to move constantly, like Beat Saber.

An amazing leap forward over what was offered just a couple years ago. Stand alone, wireless, clarity, refresh rate... all GREAT! One star off for Facebook requirements. Facebook is a huge negative at least IMO but not enough to discourage a recommendation to buy. Very happy with the purchase. Just make sure you block all of your privacy settings.

Battery life doesnt seem to be very good. But overall good quality.

I've bought four of these now (the 256 gb version). I bought okbe for myself, one for my fiance, one for my son, and one for my daughter. This thing is amazing!! The games are fun and the experiences, like Jurassic World and IT are mindblowing. The exercise games are intense too. If you want one of these get it. You won't be disappointed.

The best gift for my godson, He has lots of fun with it.

This is an awesome piece of technology. I bought it for my son and figured I might play a game or two every once in a while. But, after exploring all that it does for a couple of weeks, I bought one for myself as well. From social interactions, to productivity, to entertainment, to (of course) games, this thing is awesome. Highly recommended.

This is such a cool VR. Its my first system so i have nothing to compare to.

It’s a really nice unit for a standalone, the price doesn’t kill you either. It’s comfortable, and it recognizes your movements pretty well for a stand alone unit. It has several great games and the graphics are on par with most vr set ups. My only complaint ( not even really a complaint) is that there aren’t enough titles, and the diversity of games could be a little better. That being said I realize it is on the newer side of the vr spectrum, and I’m sure the number and style of games will continue to increase.

This has become an essential product for me, I use it more than my game console sometimes, and often as much as my projector. The browser works very well with online subscriptions, and having that extra space is worth it for your downloadable content. It also has a lot of fun apps and games, and many entertaining video services too. I have been using VR technology since 2015, and it has never been this convinient, you don't have to worry about being trapped, and you still get the best available resolution, plus having both controllers from the start allows you to take advantage of all the features from the start. It is also completely responsive and functional, you never have to worry about that because the sensors work well. You can walk around with it and get closer, unlike Gear VR where you are stuck with the same perspective. The only downside is that it doesn't work well when you use bluetooth, but they probably can solve that in the future. I recommend having rechargeable batteries for the controllers, and the headset battery lasts 2 hours, so it is a good time, but an extra long cable us recommend to recharge if you need more time to enjoy it.

This is a lot of fun to play-just make sure you're not close to any breakables :) The biggest drawback (for me, at least) is that the only way to purchase games is through the Oculus itself and it takes a "reloadable" type of Visa/Mastercard to make the purchase with. I'm not quite sure how I'll gift my grandson any future games. The other two drawbacks (again for me) is that it is painfully expensive and is locked to a Facebook account I'm hoping my grandson has as much fun playing with it as I did testing it :D

High price. Lots of fun. Wish you could use with out facebook.
