No complaints. Great graphics. Sound is good. Mic is good. Battery life could be better. While charging is quick, I find that it constantly needs to be charged. Some of the games are hard to navigate...but that more user error then it is the equipment!

It is what it is. I does what it does. Not gonna review this as it would be redundant. If you research you will find more PROfessional reviews than you have time to read. Best in value in class. Under a Thousand dollars? Here is your solution! Want better VR quality and such? Get ready to spend at LEAST $1200 - $1500 minimum to exceed this products capabilities. Basically FB and Co are selling this as practically a Loss Leader for the last 2-3 years and ongoing. Maybe one day if I do better financially I will sink serious cash and upgrade. But for now? This is great! This will satisfy todays VR jones w/o mortgaging the house! So take advantage now if you want to dive into quality VR and see if it's for you.

Fun novelty, impressive experience gets old quick

Great novelty, gets a bit old because it gets sweaty inside being all sealed up in your eyes. Definitely recommend buying aftermarket “eye gaskets” with more airflow as well as the head straps with a crank mechanism. It’s worth the investment for a more comfy experience long term but even after all the upgrades and accessories it mostly just sits on my shelf. Fun to break out here and there but one of those things you’re stoked on for the first few days then it slowly just starts collecting dust and you end up with like $600 sitting on a shelf. If you have a friend with one try theirs and if you are itching to burn some cash pick one up you’ll have some fun but just know you’ll probably end up not using it much. It’s kind of an ordeal getting it all fired up and situated then you start sweating and fogging up the lenses and it’s like faaaaahhhhhwk this I’m just gonna use my tv or laptop or phone whatever just get this off my head hah

Switched from PSVR to Oculus Quest 2. Won't go bac

I've owned the PSVR on Playstation since it came out. Loved it, although, a few things that I have to mention to help my comparison to the OQ2... 1. Hated the cords constantly getting tangled. Not only that but if you didn't take care of the cords once your done playing, over time they start to crimp and I was worried that at some point the internal wires would snap making the headset useless. 2. The 180 degree view. Anytime I turned my head to far left or right, the tracking would go nuts. Same with motion controllers, they would jump out of view and you'd have to shake it to get it to re-track. 3. The headset in my honest opinion sucked. It was to tight. I tried everything and eventually unhooked the rubber band straps on both sides. This allow it to sit on my head without squeezing the blood from my brain. This very fact was the main reason I got motion sickness. Once I relieved that pressure, I no longer got sick while playing. 4. Screendoor. Wasn't bad but noticeable. NOW... the OCULUS QUEST 2: Blown away. No cables to mess with, resolution is clear and sharp, headset on my head doesn't squeeze the life out of my brain, no screendoor effect. 1. The headset. Honestly, I was actually nervous to put it on. I was afraid I'd put this thing on and I'd get sick like the PSVR. NOPE! I was shocked. The headset fit on my head perfect, no pressure points cutting blood from my brain... I played for 2 hours straight and didn't get sick. My face felt like the blood had drained due to the pressure on my cheekbones but overall, awesome. 2. I've never played VR with high resolution. I'm used to the PSVR and screendoor. Fuzzy words, FOV sometimes sucked. The Quest 2.. wow. I just wasn't ready for high resolution and everything so clear, easy to read, no screen door. What a huge difference. I can see why people fork out 1K on higher end VR units. Worth it. Which is why the Quest 2 is a shocking piece of tech for the price. Can't beat it. 3. 360 degrees. Being so used to 180 degrees, it was awesome when I drew my perimeter around the living room and could walk in any direction without cables tripping me up. Sounds funny but it was liberating to stand, sit, crawl, jump and walk anywhere. Again, blown away and wish I would have jumped to wireless sooner. So many other things that blew my mind and in my opinion it blows the PSVR away. YES, PSVR does have some great exclusives BUT the Quest 2 has Steam and all the games from FB with Virtual Desktop. It's just awesome. No other words for it. My son owns PSVR and put it on last night as well... it ruined it for him. He instantly wants to get rid of his PSVR and switch to Quest 2. Just an awesome piece of tech for the price. No regrets.

My 15 yr old just loves the Quest 2. The only issues I've noticed is the difficulty of connecting it to her Xbox S. I do recommend getting a docking station for everything. It helps keep it all together and stay charged.

    Virtual sensory immersion

I picked this up as a gift and it turned out to be a great party item. Everyone that sees it has to try it out, adults and kids alike. We found out that it is so immersive that motion sensitive friends can't use it. After about 30min of updates and setup we had a good time. Make sure to clear an area around the player for safety for everyone and everything in reach. Even with the mandatory Facebook account to setup, we found settings to deactivate so it wasn't broadcasting our use. The good: Virtual sensory immersion is awesome. Price point for hardware. Easy to use. The bad: You have to set up a Facebook/Meta account... Game prices. If you get motion sickness, this is not for you! Fun physically and mentally.

Exactly what you would expect in a virtual reality headset. Just wish it came with rechargeable batteries in the hand controllers. And the exercise potential of this thing is limitless! Even basic games may cause you to break a sweat.

Strap on your rocket-powered socks because the Oculus Quest 2 256GB is like a VR party for your brain! It's sleek, comfy, and has a display so sharp it'll make your eyeballs high-five each other. Plus, it's wireless, so you can breakdance in VR anywhere. With more games than you can shake a virtual stick at, it's like having a theme park in your living room. And guess what? Oculus keeps this baby fresh with updates. If you're not wearing one right now, you're missing out on the future.

Love this headset! The controllers are comfortable and the interface is easy to use. The headset is comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. There is a little bit of light bleed around the nose area, but not too bad, Beat Saber is definitely a fun game to get started playing. If you're into horror then I recommend The Exorcist Legion. It's truly terrifying. I recommend getting a battery pack because the battery life isn't great. Other than the battery life, I highly recommend this headset.

Overall it’s a good product. Got the 256GB one but honestly feel like the 128 is enough unless you figure that you might download lots of games and/or movies. The controllers are comfortable, and the VR is not too heavy but the head strap it comes with is not that comfortable. Will probably switch to another one from Oculus or from Amazon. Video quality is pretty good and you have fun with the games and many other things you can do with it.

Most amazing tech ever for work and play

I can't say enough good things about this VR headset. Having started with a Pixel Phone Daydream, then to an HP connected PCVR headset, the freedom of having a wireless VR headset with the high quality 6DOF tracking is just amazing! Right now, I'm using it to play Star Wars Squadrons using a Thrustmaster flight stick and it is just mind blowingly good (game purchased on Steam, played using SteamVR, with Virtual Desktop App on Quest, and Sidequest loaded Virtual Desktop app). For work, ImmersedVR allows you to map a physical keyboard to a virtual keyboard and work with as many monitors as you want, or even share them with others working with your in the same virtual room. Microsoft's AltSpaceVR, Facebook's Horizon, VRChat, Rec Room and others provide social interaction in a time when many are in lockdown and can get it no other way. VR's time has come and this headset is at the forefront! There are a couple negatives to this unit though including the default head strap which is not very comfortable. I recommend upgrading to the elite or elite with battery, or using the FrankinQuest mod found on YouTube. Also, you have to be sure to shut it all the way down as letting it sleep seems to drain the battery quicker than I would expect. Perhaps it's waking up because it sits on my desk and picks up movement. No other issues for me and I can't get enough of this thing.
