Great Vr system for the price

I love my quest 2 and the fact you can communicate with others on the game system meet new people etc. You can travel everywhere do just about anything without leaving your home. I really enjoy it. The only problem I have is the headset straps hurt my head and gave me an headache so I can to purchase a different head gear from Amazon to make it comfortable also the games can be a bit pricey games range from 9.99 to about 40 dollars. Sometimes the games go on sale or have a bundle packs. You will need to purchase a extra battery to keep the vr charge if you want to play longer. Other than that I love it!

First time owner of any VR headset, glad I choose the Meta Quest 2. A great and fun purchase and easy to setup. lots of games and apps to enjoy. I love watching the 360 degrees videos from the Meta app and the Youtube on VR. One thing I didn't like is it's hard to wear glasses with the headset, unless you wear contact lenses or have those special VR lenses to add-on. Another is don't use it too long as it put a strain on your eyes and will give you a headache for possible new users, like me. Also, be careful while using it otherwise you will bump into things if you get overexcited and move too fast. But overall a enjoyable device and glad I bought it.

I got one of these for each of my kids. (12&14). The 14 year had the original version and appreciated the lighter weight of this head strap. She did not like the strap and felt it could slip off. However she did think the graphics and load time were much better. After two months she still plays it every now and then. My 12 year old son. Tried a few games. However his neck would hurt and he would get a head ache after only 20 minutes of play. He did say the games were somewhat fun. But prefers a computer. He ended up returning this unit for a refund.

I ordered this online for my grandson. It was an excellent choice and excellent price. I did some price comparison, and actually they were a little cheaper than a couple of other businesses. I ordered online and within two days I had the product delivered to my doorstep. The online process was very user-friendly. I highly recommend ordering from Best Buy, and if you aren’t able to get to the store, ordering online is very quick and easy.

Still a fantastic headset in 2025, far more options to use installed games rather than need to hook up to a PC.

I had no real desire to get a VR headset but it was my 10 year old son who was really interested in it. It was a little pricey but it was a birthday gift for the kids so I picked it up. We have owned it for almost a year and it's still as fun as the first day we used it. The VR ecosystem is growing and growing which makes the headset relevant. My kids use it more than I do of course but I'm 52 years old. I mostly enjoy using it in bed to watch movies or YouTube while the wife is asleep. If you plan on getting the Meta Quest 2 definitely use rechargeable batteries for the controllers. My only complaint is that the headset does get uncomfortable. I recommend getting the aftermarket headset attachment, much better support.

Easy to use, removing and swapping the head strap feels flimsy, but it’s what they went with.

This product is fun to use because at night me and my friends play vr chat and do scary game modes and the laughs are top tier because some of the modes do be scary to the point we scream glad I bought this item for that entertainment and for trying something different.

I love my Oculus. I replaced my old one which is the same model with this new one. It seems brighter and the controls are tight! I didn’t realize how frustrated the old worn out controllers were making me. It’s FUN to play again with out the drift!! Yes, I could have just replaced the controllers (hand pieces) but it need a head strap as well and other issues. It was just a little more to just replace the whole unit!!

Very good graphics. I like the sitting feature when first starting up the game. Very helpful for those who cannot move very well. My daughter in her wheelchair loves it. The scary games my 12yr old loves being scared by the realism of the characters and how unexpected the jump scenes are. I like the fact you don't jave to use your own phone for VR games.

My first venture into VR and the Meta 2 is an amazing experience. Headset adjustment was simple and comfortable. I didn’t even notice that I was wearing it once I started using it. Price point is fair. My initial thought was that it was too expensive until I actually had it and started using it. Can’t wait for some greater selection in the fitness genre to become available.

    More than Voodoo

I am a first generation gamer. The modern graphics processor begins with the 3D add-in cards in 1995. I bought the first PC version Tomb Raider game and excitedly spent hours trouble shooting installation errors to achieve an amazing 320x200 experience. My 4MB 3Dfx Voodoo1 Graphics card patched 640x480 resolution. Quake got 41 frames per second at a resolution of 320 x 200. “Back in the day’s”, this was geek speak for unbelievable and awesome. Today, 60 FPS is workable and 120 FPS look like real life. Back then a single graphics card cost more than the Oculus 2. And the Graphics card required installation into a computer that in today’s standard is less powerful than a free watch inside a box of cereal. (Only a slight exaggeration) Your phone has 100,000 times the processing power of the computer that landed man on the moon 50 years ago. Today with the Oculus 2 you can VR walk on the moon. You can adjust the resolution at 5408 x 2736 compared to a pixilated 320 x 200 resolution. The Oculus experience feels so real that weightless remains after removing the headset. At this rate of change, Oculus will develop Quantum mechanics technologies for photon entanglement and teleport our bodies to the moon. Forgive the Sci-fi, but the fantasy is real… get the Oculus. An error free experience. Today I walk inside a magical, and nearly hologram version of Tomb Raider. You can’t imagine the exceptional experience. Get the Oculus2.

Love the Oculus Quest 2. I bought 3 of these as Christmas gifts for my kids. They have turned into entertainment for the whole family. These things aren't perfect but I think they are pretty amazing and a good starting point for VR. Pros: Easy and fairly intuitive to use and setup if you have even minimal technical ability Lots of entertainment options for the whole family from shooters to puzzles to exercise Really fun to play games, socially interact, or watch media Cons: Some people will be sensitive to the movement and may get motion sickness. My wife and youngest get sick pretty easily, the rest of us have no issue. Plus side is that many games give a comfort rating. Battery life is not great. I typically get 1 to 1.5 hours on a single charge. There a battery packs available to extend battery life. Facebook account required - maybe a con if your not on Facebook or don't want to be. Multiple accounts - if you buy multiple Quests for use with friends and family do a little research into best way to setup game sharing before you setup. May not want to leave younger aged kids unattended to play. As with any platform where people can freely socialize and interact there is going to be some amount of inappropriate conduct.
