Just returned this. The experience reeks of spam, ads, and walled-garden shenanigans. This is not a customer-friendly product. * Requires a facebook account to use. * After spending an hour creating a burner Facebook account, and turning off all the default-opt-in garbage features and experience spying, I was never able to make SteamVR work in it. * Several errors from the headset and the machine about connectivity. This was probably intentional by meta, and I refuse to use the "mEtA sToRe" for obvious privacy and walled-garden related reasons. * This is a cheap android device that streams games to a headset. It gets warm in the front after a couple minutes. * To play real games, and not just soulless android garbage from the Meta store, You must have a gaming PC with windows, and their app running at all times, and even then, you still have issues. * Sometimes, stuff doesn't work right and throws errors. The wireless link is garbage and disconnects a lot. * As a glasses-wearer, the support is just not there. The edges of my glasses aren't proportional to their lenses, and I had color separation / rainbow effect on the peripherals of the headset. Look down, and it gets blurry and rainbow-ey. * The PID (Pupil distance) only has 3 settings - Probably Mark Zuckerberg's PID and +/- 10. If your personal PID isn't those, you will see blurryness, and the circles will not line-up. * Not the end of the world, but the art is flat, corporate, unrealistic, and narcissisticly serves Zuckerberg as a person. The default avatar is literally him, down to his awkwardly puffed out chest, and the overall art of the experience is soulless, baby-like, and is a constant reminder he's a tone-deaf designer who makes mediocure ad-ridden expriences you'd be better-served skipping. The menus are icon-based, and appear at weird places when you put the headset on, requiring adjustment each time. I'm going to spend my time and effort researching one of Valve or HTC's offerings that doesn't opt me into a flurry of unwanted contact and notifications.

My daughter is in love with it. She protects it with her dear life. She has always wanted a VR and while the Oculus is not cheap by any standard, it's worth the buy.

I was worried that I wasn’t going to like this, as I heard that it can be very disorienting for some people. I was able to try out VR before I went out and bought one, and holy crap… I am so excited that I liked it. One thing I can say is that some of the games can be disorienting at first. It’s more so with games that you can move around in game, while your body isn’t moving IRL. I can’t recommend trying if not just getting a VR headset before you buy! TLDR: I tried out VR before I bought it, and I loved it. Some games can make you dizzy.

Love watching movies on the Prime VR app, feels like a movie theater. I like the free VR stuff too- so far tried viewing planets in space and the dinosaur roller coaster.

If you haven't see or tried this yet, you are missing out. It is literally amazing. Best Buy is a great company for all of your tech needs....

Amazing! This is the best thing to alleviate being stuck at home. Getting exercise and having fun doing it. Well made, amazing graphics and overall great experience.

Nervous to the possibility that the Oculus wouldn’t be delivered in time for Christmas, but Best Buy came through big time. My grandson and the entire family love the VR.

This is the version to get. I also bought a 64GB version and quickly ran out of space. 256GB is the way to go. The VR experience is awesome. Even my wife enjoys it.

This is an awesome VR experience. Great screen and build quality. My family and I have had lots of fun using it. Only downside, you must link it to a Facebook account.

Fantastic! Great graphics! I purchased for my nephew and I liked it so much I purchased one for myself and I am not a gamer at all. That’s how amazing this VR headset is.

Great for the whole family. You look silly using this so there are some good laughs from the spectators. I only wish the battery lasted longer.

Best toy of 2021. Great to get you moving at any prior activity level. Fun to explore the world during a pandemic from the comfort of your home!

This thing is amazing! It would be even better if we have better internet speed. Be that as it may, the visuals are crisp, and gives one the feeling you are right there.
