This was a huge step up from the PSVR I bought in 2017. The meta Quest 2 is a geat stand alone unit for the price. The hand tracking and room scale boundary add a whole new level of immersion. Great way to get into VR without needing an expensive gaming computer - although, the games do look stellar when hooked up to the PC. Pros: - PC-VR racing games with a steering wheel and pedals are phenomenal. - There are always VR games on sale in the oculus store and Steam (PC). - Lots of content available - compared to the PSVR. - Clear picture quality at short to mid distances. - Games are only a few gigs, 256gb is plenty of storage. cons: - The quest 2 has trouble tracking in rooms with a lot of sunlight or glossy hardwoodfloors. - The roomscale boundary is roughly limited to 15ft². It will not track a full 2 stall garage. - Occasional room tracking loss interrupts game play. - Limmited feild of view. - Blurry images at the edges of veiwing angles

Exactly as expected. The family had played with the device at others' houses, and the one we got performed perfectly and held a charge out of the box so they got to play right away. I wasn't really sure how to buy the games but you can connect an account and buy so be ready for that piece.
