I bought the Meta-Quest vr for my sons 13th birthday. Amazing! This is his favorite present he has ever gotten.

This is an amazing headset! I sprung for the 256 GB version and I'm very glad I did. The sound is crisp, realistic and extremely immersive, The resolution is amazing with no "screen door" effect, and the tracking is really good. This headset is extremely easy to set up and start playing very soon right out of the box. The only 2 things I wish were better were the battery life and the strap gets pretty uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of play time.

If you were a child of the ‘80’s waiting around for flying cars, teleportation, and virtual reality…one outta three ain’t too bad. It here. You can step into an environment apart from your own and experience tactile interaction in innovative and mind blowing ways.

I’m a VR enthusiast who’s owned nearly every major VR headset for the past several years. I’m currently using the Oculus Quest 2, an HP Reverb G2 and a Valve Index. All three of those headsets have their pros and cons, but the easiest one to recommend to anyone new to VR is the Oculus Quest 2. It’s truly amazing what Facebook has been able to do in a stand-alone headset (no PC required) for only $300-400, and Oculus Link works surprisingly well if you want to play PC only VR games (assuming you have an adequately powerful PC). It’s very easy to set up and use (since a PC is not required), the software library is extensive and high quality, the controllers and tracking work great, and it’s comfortable - although I’ve been using the Elite Strap with Battery Pack from day one, so I can’t really comment on the stock strap, but the Elite Strap is comfortable enough (although nothing compared to the G2 or Index). If you’re upgrading from an Oculus Quest 1, be warned that not everything is better... The resolution upgrade is noticeable, but the lack of fine IPD adjustment was a big step back - the Quest 2 IPD presets don’t fit me perfectly and that’s negatively impacted me personally. Also, the sweet spot on the Quest 2 is noticeably smaller than the Quest 1 - anything slightly off center of your vision is much blurrier than the Quest 1. Finally, the black levels on the Quest 2 are not nearly as good as the Quest 1 - this was to be expected when moving from OLED panels to LCD, but you’ll definitely notice the much lighter blacks. So while I was hopeful I could retire my Quest 1 when I got my Quest 2, I’m still holding on to it for now due to all of these issues. If you’re wondering, I haven’t noticed a big difference in the controllers and tracking between the Quest 1 and 2.

I love this thing the extra storage space is awesome for having lots of games the controllers are cool and very easy to use and play with. I think my only complaint would be about the head strap I would like it to longer on the top it just feels weird but that's just me being spoiled. The battery life is long about 5 hours I think and unless I want to do a long session I don't have to charge it at all during the day so it's perfect.

Awesome! So fun. Kids love it! Easy to use. Love that you can cast to a TV so that others can watch you play.

Graphics are incredible. Fun way to communicate. Battery span not so great maybe an hour before it needs to recharge. Some bugs with the app and can cause vertigo.

I buy a lot of gadgets and tech toys. This is one of my favorite tech purchases of the year, for 2020 and 2021 so far. The VR headset works great. I ended up buying a different headstrap, but that was just personal preference. There are many games and applications available for this headset. I definitely recommend this! Being forced to have a Favebook acount to use this is not preferred by me, but I can ultimately live with that. This is a family favorite.

Son absolutely loves it. Charging is easy and unit is comfortable

I thought this would be more of a fun thing to do once and awhile since I have about 5k in a gaming PC... now I play this thing every day and I'm burning more calories from it. Sure I'm sore a lot from being out of shape, but give me a year and I think I found a way to get more active having fun. You kind of just lose track of yourself in it though, so great for fitness, but not so great if you forget to drink water or look at time.

It was nice and had nice features. For playing games with VR we can feel the new virtual world

Hmmm...I don't use it like I thought I would. They need to consider including a game for the amount they sale this product. Was it worth the money, not really.

Only reason for not being 5 stars is that when i set up my headset by pairing with my phone the clock is 4 hours ahead on the headset with no way to correct it without factory restarting headset.

Well if you are looking for an easy introduction into VR…. This is it even at the new MSRP this is the best value for the money. Let’s clear the air… You DO NOT have to link your Facebook account anymore. That was a big issue for people since Facebook could ban you on all platforms for any terms you violate. Hardware: Fantastic overall some issue with inclusions in the lens but warranty fixes that if you have any. Some people may have a IPD greater than the maximum and there are adapters online along with prescription lens if needed. I do recommend changing the straps since they are annoying to change if you are sharing. I went with a Deluxe audio strap from the htc vive and it’s a game changer. Software: They have updated and added so much since Version 1. The hand tracking is phenomenal along with the oculus air link if you have a gaming pc and want to play Steam VR games. There are so many mods and adjustments that can be made and they make it night and day from the stock oculus quest 2

My son loves these. Im giving 4 stars because even with the addon for glasses his still managed to stratch the lens giving it a blurry in the middle and the headgear magnets straps broke.

My family is really enjoying this system. I was worried that it would make me dizzy but I've only had problems with one game so far. It's a lot of fun, and it makes exercise fun. I'm a pretty sedentary person, and this system helps get me moving. I recommend it for people of all ages. There are options to sit in some games, so if standing for a long time is difficult, you can still enjoy the system. It's so much prettier than I thought it would be.

Excellent VR experience, very immersive with plenty of games available for purchase. It has plentiful disk space for game downloads. Only thing I would improve is the battery life.
