The Best Deal in VR

The inclusion of a higher resolution display and support for WiFi-6 was reason enough for me to upgrade. Others may take issue with the Facebook requirement, the switch to an LCD screen from OLED, and the 3 choice IPD adjustment (rather than the slider on the original Quest), but the price to quality ratio makes this a no brainer for anyone looking for their first VR headset. It’s a wonderful all in one, stand-alone experience, but couple it with a capable PC and you’re ready to go toe to toe with headsets 3 times the price. If you’ve read this much just BUY IT!

Oculus Quest2

Got tired of wire entanglement with current (PSVR)... that and the SDE. I dumped the PS4 pro and PSVR because Sony is dragging their feet on a new VR headset and I ain’t getting any younger! The Oculus is amazingly easy to use, the clarity is jaw dropping and coupled with a decent laptop the VR content on Steam is incredible! I now stream content wirelessly to my headset...Hooray!

The Oculus Quest 2 @ $299.99 with 64 gb is an excellent beginner’s VR set. The Quest 2 @ $399.99 with 256 gb is fantastic for those who are accustomed towards virtual reality and are ready for future adventures.

There are plenty of games and a whole lot of videos and other experiences to have. This would be akin to getting a Nintendo Switch. The graphics are good, but there are better more powerful VR setups out there (involving external computers), but like the switch, the beauty of the Quest 2 is that it is all self contained.

Living in VR!

I have read books and seen movies where people get lost in VR. I am trying hard not to be one of those people but I have so much fun. From the exercise apps to the game apps I am always trying something new. Got one for my husband. Showed my neighbor and she got two for her grandkids. You will not be disappointed
