A step up from the Quest 1

The Quest 1 was amazing, but it did have its bugs and crashes! The Quest 2 has the good parts of the Quest 1 without the bads! The battery does seem to last a little less as long but you can get away with having a big portable battery in your pocket charging the quest as you play!

Great unit, drawback with FB account requirement

The only downside is that you're now forced to have a Facebook account to use it - versus the old "Oculus" account. I don't like the concept of my son having a Facebook account / social media at a young age, but Facebook owns Oculus and thus controls those strings. The interface is great, very easy to use. Son loves it, so do it.

Best Vr head set bang for your buck.

Does not come with any games though but for the price its great. Sort of down played as you sort of need accessories the better strap and to have the best experience making the real cost somewhere in the 600 dollar range. Even then its still a fraction of other sets like the HTC vive ect.

Amazing, but with a Facebook requirement

There is almost no screen door and once all the apps take full advantage of its capabilities it will take another leap. The Facebook account requirement isn’t an issue for most, but it still is a problem. If you close your Facebook account after you have purchased games, you will lose the games. I hope they address this and change their policies.

So much fun so many different apps. The only problem that we have is that there is only one (for now) I love the fact that I can watch my YouTube stuff and then the kids can play their games. Even my toddler can play with the Tilt Brush and other games. Highly recommend

Share with the kids?

After it first came in, the husband and I wanted to have it all set up and ready for the kids to use on Christmas Day, after messing around with it we were tempted to keep it for ourselves. In the end we decided we would all share, but next time we have some funds come available I want one for myself!
