Big heads beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have every oculus headset sold and this one is the smallest. I have a 7 5/8 head and the sides push in against my temple/outer eye (I am not overweight) Picture is great, however, form factor for larger heads is in need of some modifications. If there is a remedy for this please let me know. It’s not as comfortable to play when it doesn’t fit your face. See attached picture which shows the quest and quest 2 nose to nose. Easy to see the difference in width. I’m keeping it in hopes my face shrinks.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly its great the only bad thing is when trying to watch. Netflix in the dark hand tracking will randomly go off and then pause the show its more user error but ive enjoyed it plus the air link to connect to desktop works havent had anything crazy but the battery life doesnt last more than a couple hours of using but they have extended battery stuff for that

Great for Couch Potatoes to get off the couch
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OMG, we love this headset. Me and the hubby play on the weekends. It's a really good way for older couples to get some exercise and not even have to think about it. Our favorite games are Crisis Brigade 2 Reloaded and Creed. We are actively looking for a new game that we can play together as a team.

Fun for the whole family
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wry cool piece of technology, I bought it for a fun learning tool for my kids because I saw some cool interactive immersive educational videos and figured it would also double as a gaming console. I find myself using it more then the kids do.. the oculus can be used for exercise, learning, watching movies, and some wild gaming. This is just the beginning of this tech, can’t wait to see what comes in the future.

Kinda heavy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quest 2 is awesome! It’s pretty heavy on your face though and I have found that sometimes I lean my head forward a bit due to the weight or my neck starts to get a little sore after playing for more than an hour but the weight imbalance can be fixed by adding a counter weight to the strap on the back of your head. Overall it’s a great product and works really well.

Not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t play this nearly as often as I thought I would. My Afro hair gets caught in the Velcro strap. The device is heavy on the face, which caused neck pain. The game library wasn’t enough to keep me coming back. It was easy to setup. I can play this sitting down and within a small space. The speakers are good quality. The joystick battery life is good.

Great Memory Maker for the Family
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve purchased for all 3 grandchildren … now this is my fourth time purchasing as my youngest grandson the 8 year old needed an update to the 256 model for his birthday… needless to say my grandchildren LOVE it! They even got their 86 year old great grandmother to try it out… what a blast that was… even she LOVED it… Worth every cent… great memories too!

Not Bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved these for a while. Easy to use, as well as the app. Battery life is good for 3 hours, which I think is good for a portable VR headset for me at least. What keeps this from being 5 stars was the meta account linking issues. Has an problem login in to Facebook and logging on to Oculus and having the cycle repeat endlessly. It got to the point where I am now considering to getting a VR headset for my pc instead. Still a great headset when I could use it. Also the carry case is indeed a must. Made it easy to put away in a small safe area.

Cheap, light, easy to use.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light, cheap and easy to use for a virtual reality headset. I bought the meta quest 2 just looking to get my foot in the door with VR games and see what the hype is all about, however with this headset i was also able to connect to my pc so i can play ANY VR game available not just what meta had on their store! I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product.

Experience the meta-verse
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Meta Quest 2 offers a compelling VR experience with its high-resolution display, wireless freedom, and a vast content library. Its powerful hardware and affordable price make it a top choice, but some users may find the default strap uncomfortable. Overall, it's a stellar VR headset for both newcomers and enthusiasts.

Love it and definitely try this frankenquest setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. a few things to know for a much better setup-- you dont need a Oculus link cable to connect to play games on a gaming pc ,you can use "Virtual Desktop" (youtube how to side load onto the quest "cas and cherry vr") for a wireless setup that works great. also the issue with the battery strap and them breaking alternative go with a frankenquest setup---get a vive deluxe audio strap (could find for (100.00 found mine on ebay for 86.00 new) the D.A.S. adapters are sold on etsy. I bought "Metaversemake"20.99 for a sturdy setup . for a more seamless build you can get one from "Businesscompanyvr" (doesnt use velcro for middle strap which i like )19.99+ shipping. Annnnddd you can get a universal battery mount from "tycotech3dprinting".24.99 also on etsy. Comes a little over the battery strap (which i have and compared) but i much rather have this superb setup. it's definitely better in terms of being a counterweight and way more battery life depending on the powerbank you choose. the vive headset is way more comfortable then both straps from oculus. The audio built in the headset vs the vive strap is *pffffttt* (meaning trash) compared to the strap. All in all its modular and well worth it.see you on population one .#joshmagosh25

Good product and was on sale
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a good purchase. I bought it for $100 off the price. The new model is coming out so it will be phased out on sale. Works great and is sturdy and enjoyable. Not quite as great as my Steam Valve VR but the wireless makes it so much easier and less stressful about replacing cord that get twisted no matter how hard you try not to twist.
