Originally my son wanted the Oculus Rift, which is great too. However, make sure you have a computer with the correct specs in order to be able to use it. Since he did not have a computer with the correct specs, we exchanged it for the Oculus Quest. For the Oculus Quest you don’t need your computer in order to use it, other than to set it up. He could not be happier with it. Highly recommended.

There are some downsides but if you have a PC thats ready for VR it makes the experience a lot better

Some issues with connecting to servers still but that should be worked out as Oculus catches up with the high demand. I would definitely recommend.
