They cancelled my order
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to the store and Bought the Oculus set, estimated a week to pick up this item but they just cancelled it without any notice. Got my money back but it was an awful experience. It supposed to be a christmas gift for my 10 year old son. I’m not buying here again. Went to Amazon instead.

Oculus
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love the oculus. The original headset wasn't very comfortable but was able to buy a piece that made it better for like $20 but overall we love the oculus. So many cool games for the family to play and even a fun workout game.

Just get rift s for pc gaming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenses are terrible and make everything look like it's got a halo around it or weird streaks. Pc gaming with oculus link cable looks horrible with compression artifacts everywhere. Rift s is still far superior for pc gaming, it's a real shame they tried to replace it with this junk.

Santa delivered a broken oculus
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was THE Christmas gift and the morning of, followed the instructions and it was “corrupted” and didn’t work. I know I’m probably in the minority (statistical malfunctions out of the box) but very frustrating especially since they’re all sold out and can’t get it replaced.

Has not been received
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I could actually give a review if the product had actually arrived. I ordered on 11/30 - this was a Christmas present for my daughter. I got an email two days before Christmas saying deliver was delayed and it would arrive Monday, December 28, it still has not arrived.

Not bad if you are not picky
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for very casual gaming. There ate better headset for true VR experience if you have a gaming Rig and a place to play. Biggest draw back is lack of game selection and the inability to add steam games without add ons to the device

Blurry, blurry, blurry. Horrible resolution.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could never get it to look sharp. Resolution always looked liked 480dpi. I used the Sidequest app to change settings and no improvements. This was bad!! This had to be a bad unit because there is no way this is the way its supposed to look.

Overall a disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shame on facebook/ocolus. I expected this to be PC friendly but i cant even connect it to pc easily. It comes with spacers for glasses but still doesn't fit glasses.. The image-quality is worse than the rift, field of view is too narrow

Best Buy Poor Customer Service
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd love to review this item, unfortunately it got 'lost' in delivery and Best Buy wouldn't replace the item. 10 days before Christmas I got left without the gift my husband requested. They did refund the money but that doesn't help me on Christmas morning.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not of my taste, the games are expensive. You can’t use it with friends so is not the best for a game night unless is by yourself. I returned it cause I didn’t like it, but the VR is really good quality and definition

Worst customer service EVER!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product was faulty...not once, but twice! My 13 year old son bought this with his own money, and when I took it back to get a refund, they called me a liar and would only give store credit back. Worst experience I have EVER had in my life!

Haven’t received the Oculus
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t received the Oculus, so therefore I don’t want to rate it. At this point, my husband wants a refund but, I’m being very patient knowing it’ll be here soon. Because I got this for him as a birthday gift. He went from being excited to not.

Great for VR on a Budget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great VR headset. It is not as powerful as the PC run headsets because it just can’t be at this price point. It does pretty much everything I want it to, there are a few titles I’ve played on or seen on the Vive that aren’t on the Quest 2, but I’d say 90% of the titles I’m interested in are available, so I’m pretty happy overall. I’ve seen several reviews saying this headset isn’t good for users with glasses but I’ve worn glasses nearly my entire life, I have an astigmatism in one eye, and I have bifocals, and my only issue is that my glasses sometimes fog up when I’m playing. I’m going to be getting new glasses soon and when I do I plan on finding something like RainX to treat the lenses with. Since there was a warning not to use glass cleaner on the Quest’s lenses I won’t be putting it on the devise itself though. I also have had no issues with it being too tight, but I got the extra face plate kit and I installed both the wide face plate the glasses spacer (I’m not sure if the spacer came with the VR headset or the extra face plate kit tbh). The pupal distance only has 3 options which I don’t like but this seems to be fine for my vision, YMMV in this aspect as there are far more pupal distances than just the three these can be adjusted to, but everyone I’ve let try the headset so far hasn’t complained yet, so maybe the majority of uses will fall into one of those three options. The battery life isn’t great without the extended battery strap but as I’ve mostly played for only an hour or so at a time I haven’t found myself running out of battery yet, I’ve also been pretty conscious of the battery level and remembering to charge it when I take breaks. The controllers are easy to use and to grip, I’d rather have had a strap to go across my hand rather than the provided wrist strap, but it looks like I can find something on Amazon for about $15 so I’m not upset they only came with the straps. The default head strap is alright but the ‘elite’ strap is easier to adjust, especially between users. I wouldn’t say it’s a necessity but it’s definitely nice to have. The elite strap with battery actually counterweights the headset nicely and it makes the unit feel more secure on my head, I’m not at all worried it will fall off. Overall this is a great standalone VR headset, but you will benefit from purchasing accessories such as the better strap with battery and the additional faceplates. If you don’t have a PC to power the higher end VR this is a great way to access VR. Solid 4/5.

Best buy terrible review policies
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Kids love it but best buy requires fifty characters for this stupid review, therfore it is getting a one star review. If best buy wants real reviews, they really shoud reconsider their policy on reviews.
