I would love to leave a better review but I have had this item for a week and haven't been able to get it set up. The problem is that now they require a Facebook account to use the Q2. It will not merge my previous Occulus account with all its games to the new system. Customer support is completely useless. The only way to contact them is by email and it takes an average of a day and a half for them to respond to any help request and they do not bother to read the emails you send. I have answered the same questions for a different tech about what the problem is 3 times now only to get an email from a new tech who apparently can't be bothered to read the earlier emails about what is going on. Frustrating is not nearly a strong enough word to having to deal with their "customer support".

Do you have to pay the 33.25 of the payments! or is it optional?

If you're wearing glasses and your glasses size is more than 142mm long, this headset is gonna give you a big headache. The facepad is quite narrow and that is the problem. If you try really hard, your glasses are gonna be constantly pushed into your nose bridge and eyes. Furthermore, it can cause scratches to both your glasses and the VR lens in the long run. It also doesn't have lens adjustment knobs like the Quest 1 and Gear VR (I used both). You can fix this issue by buying prescription lens but that will add more into your total costs. I tried to purchase one pair from WidmoVR and it almost costs me $145 with coupon code. Make sure you try putting the headset on before you purchase (if the store has a demo unit or borrow one from friend). On the other note, this headset is excellent. Only recommend it if you're not wearing glasses.

This is my third Oculus and it has never taken me less than three trips to Best Buy to have everything I need to make it work. I bought a $2000 gaming computer, got it home, and figured out that since it doesn’t have a USB c connector that my Oculus is basically dead in the water.

Do not buy! After 2 months it started asking for a pin that was never created. We had to do a factory reset and then it would not pair. Waste of $300.
